Suppose if you need to get that bolt in you could drill a hole in the bar at the back to poke the bolt through and into the gearbox, then you could weld it up again.

Hey nice project . The word” Huracan” is a word in Spanish which is hurricane that has a native Caribbean etimology which is “ hurican” , the god of the wind. Men for sure your project will be a Hurricane . Godspeed and thanks for the entertainment .

My brain wasnt braining seeing vcds on, thinking since when is vcds for Volvo, seeing the Audi Logo in the back… completly lost. Then remember the v10 in the back lol😂

Would be nice to see the actual work being filmed rather than just showing it after. It’s an amazing build and your very talented so would be great to see some of the fabrication and build in action.
When time is tight like that, we can be happy to get any video updates at all. Imagine the pressure!

As for the parachute release, what about a Mercedes E-brake style, big and to the left but a similar placement and easily available parts wise? Just a thought. Going to have a look through Nuke’s catalogue, got to be honest, never heard of them before but they look fantastic quality. Cheers as ever Peter, good luck getting finished!!

Instead of making the flange thinner for that 1 bolt, countersink the hole and use a countersunk bolt.

Could you show us how you make the two high pressure pumps work together? Do you need one-way valves after each? Do they share the same line from the tank to the fuel rail?

What exactly is that bronze screw you added in the gearbox for?
When the ringgear flex it hits the "screw" that is of "bearingbronze" and acts like a bearing to stop the flex 🙂
@@erikjohansson4390 yeah, I'm presuming that is the location of where the pinion is on the ring gear, since the pinion will introduce a sideways load onto the ring gear. The ring gear flexing is bad, as it shifts the contact point of the pinion further to the tip of the ring gear tooth, which means it can break easier
