Ukulele Festival Hawaii Facebook and KHNL TV - Strumming the final chords, Ukulele Festival Hawaii marks it's 52nd and final year. Founders Roy and Kathy Sakuma talk with Rachel Pacarro of Hi Now about dreams fulfilled - the ukulele is recognized and enjoyed the world over. It's an exciting time for many, many new ukulele festivals to be presented within the communities of Hawaii and the world. Keep on strumming!

Roy-sensei, sad to know that the festival will be the final year... I fondly remember the great times you taught me in the adult class every Tuesday evening at the Kaimuki studio and played at the festivals in Waikiki. You taught me the joy of playing ukulele. I continued playing in London and still playing. Mahalo for all you have done for us. Arigato gozai mashita.
