I have an analysis video for this song on my computer that I’ve been working on for months and have yet to post lol so i have a few notes. The first “Me & My Girls” in every chorus is Lauren (lead), and Dinah and Ally (bg). “Anything is possible” in the first chorus is Normani (lead) and Dinah (bg melody) and Ally (bg high harmony), not Lauren. It’s just Normani and Dinah for the second and third choruses. Camila only comes in on the last “me & my girls”. Normani’s lead on “anything is possible” is turned down on the third chorus because of the hook and Camila’s adlib so it sounds slightly different but it’s still just her and Dinah. Dinah also does a little “ha” after Normani’s “woah-oh-oh” in the second chorus and a “hey” at the end of the song. Camila does a “yeah” after Normani and Ally’s belted harmony. There’s also a “yeh” at the end of the song that is either Lauren or Camila but it’s so short I can’t make out who it is yet (one of the reason I haven’t posted the video yet). The bg vocal for “we can be anything” in the first prechorus is Dinah (and possibly Normani) not Camila and Camila and Ally do the “ah-ah-ah” harmonies. That “anything we want” echo in the second prechorus is the demo singer not Lauren. I found out because Barbie actually released the non-5H version where it’s clear.
I honestly can't hear ally in the 3rd me and my girls since her higher harmony doesn't appear, nor do i hear ally in the "anything is possible" etc... (i couldnt filter any high harmony there, but i can be wrong). And about the prechorus i rlly hear camila especially at "want", but mani could be there too. Nice catch on the echo since I didn't know there was a version w/o the girls singing (haven't watched the barbie series in a hot minute 😅)
I wanted to ask about the vocal analysis how do you do it what app do you use for the filter vocal and vocal I used the app you told me but I want to know which one you use and how do you download the separate vocals that is what am confused about please help me❤
I use the same app tho? I also use x-minus.pro/ai to filter. And the vocal remover app I use got rid of the option to download so I had to screenrecord
