No kidnapping, no ritual killing, no SARS, no 419, no Yahoo boys, less police road blocks, no Army on the roads, fairly good roads, free primary education, etc during this time. 😩

Not true, that you were not born during this age made you speak like that, if you were born during the early 80s and 90s you will understand that crime started from the beginning, ritual killings was even more rampant then, but was not celebrated the way it is now, the otokoto ritual killing that happened in 1996 and the coups and counter coup of the early 60s and 70s that lead to the Nigerian Biafra war in 1967 what do you call it,

Rest in peace my precious mother who slept to meet her Creator @88yrs on the 26th February 2022. One of her favorite igbo songs. My happiness is the fact that she lived to fly to Europe and America at will. Mom, may your soul RIP.

Igbo women are our pride and they are the most beautiful black race anywhere. A big accolade to all those who put this song together and may their voices live long. In the same time this song has made me remembered my late mom... Ezinne, Mrs. Enderline Ifuruaku Ikeanumba. (Nee.. Odiukonamba) .. was associated to her because in my entire village community in Orsu LGA, she is the tallest woman at 6.7" thus I made her coffin at 7". Died 1st Nov. 1998! May her soul rest in perfect peace

May the souls all who sang this song rest in peace. I grew up in the eighties listening and watching my mum and aunties dance this song as a small boy. Emily may your soul continue to rest in peace.

I love this song. It reminds me of my childhood when marriage Igbo women in my village will sing and dance joyously during their monthly meetings.
My mom used to be part of them, though, as Nwan anwa, but later became a pioneer member of the Nwan nwan club in River state.
Sweet memories of my childhood in my village are something unique and wonderful.
    Thanks for technology.

Onye ma ihe echi ga-abu? Whatever we do, may we know that the future (tomorrow) is unknown. Let's be careful how we treat our siblings, our friends and strangers. You don't know the kind of destiny he/she carries.
    God bless you.
