I like the concept of smaller updates every few years, vs big gaps in time to help tell the story more cohesively. also, thanks for the shout out and taking my suggestion
I'm with ya, I think 3-5yr time jumps, focusing on major investments is the way to go while having some one off episodes in between highlighting minor additions and subtractions to the park. Thanks for your great suggestions!
I totally remember those 70ies playgrounds, especially the Quader climbing thing in silver. I loved it as a kid. My mother always nearly had heart attacks seeing me climbing up to the top in seconds 😂
This is very cool build that brings back so many memories. I really wish that Frontier would do a Carnival/County Fair Themed Pack with some carnival rides like Sky Diver, Bring Back Scrambler, Screaming Eagles, Condor, and other 80s style older rides with carnival GAMES finally. I even miss the skill crane from the first game, I thought that was so cool to watch and it would be so much better with other games like basketball, shooting galleries, ski ball, Milk Jug Bean Bags ETC...
Id like to see you skip ahead around 10 years. I would also like to see the park buy a classic Schwarzkopf looper. I feel like thats something they would buy
I watch a lot of youtube, mostly minecraft, cities skyline, Planet coaster and farming simulator. This is by far my favorit series to watch, absolutly love it. Now that you have a good base i would love to see around 5 year jump. Maybe with a bit less episodes each "season" as it would be if it jumped 10. But 10 years is way to much of a jump i think! Ether way you go, i will keep watching!
I just suggested that he does a 3 year time skip for the next full season, but also have a shorter like 10 minute quick update of which small flats or buildings he adds during the time skip so we can still watch as it evolves but then go back to 3 or 4 episodes for a full season at whichever year he'd like to add potentially a dark ride, suspended coaster, or boomerang. Since a lot of regional parks seem to average 3-5 years between coaster type additions with flat rides, shops, or buildings like restaurants and gift shops plus park beautification in the interim time between the big investments. As much as I like this series unless drew goes daily, I don't think myself and others really want to see 4 or 5 episodes each year especially if said year/season would take a month of real time (4 uploads ie once a week) as it would get everyone burned out real quickly plus taking a literal year to progress maybe 5 seasons in game?
Thanks for the kind words! I also am thinking 10yrs is too long of a jump after reading everyone's comments, probably going to shoot for 3-5 years focusing on major investments with some small one off episodes in between focusing on smaller additions and subtractions. Thanks for watching!
It would be so cool if every successive season, you increase the size of the special trees. I love this park so much, can't wait to see the next season! Subbed!
6:40 (cue happy noises) And yes, I've seen every episode of this park so far! Oh, a bit of good news... I got the game for the holidays! I'm getting used to the management systems and controls now. So hyped to maybe participate in the future once I'm a little more comfortable with the game.
Loving this park series. Great work so far, can't wait to see how it develops. I'd say for time jumps, 10 years is way too long since you could've had attractions between 79-87 placed in the park, and yet the viewers wouldn't know unless you specifically called them out especially if they're like flops that don't last more than a couple seasons. I'd definitely agree with some of the others about doing 2-3 year time jumps, like you could say the park acquired another historic building and more flat rides in those 2 seasons we skip although have an intermediate episode maybe like 10 or 15 minutes to show those small additions, but then return with say a suspended coaster or boomerang for like 81 season since in most cases real parks usually go 3-6 years on average between big additions. But then do several episodes in like 81 or 82, maybe with one showing the land clearing, construction phase and opening of whatever you choose for the coaster or dark ride, then go back to a several year time skip with more small stuff although maybe start that section by having a water park expansion and so on. Hope this makes sense for ya.
Great ideas! I think this is the best way to go about the series so it doesn't get too convoluted. Really focus on those big investments while still keeping everyone updated with those little additions and subtractions along the way. Thanks for the suggestions!
I think every year could be 2 episodes so 6 months pass between episodes That way we can see more detail in the park changing like the first part of the year is the entrance to a new area and a flat ride and the next part of the year the park is ready for a new coaster. you could even put up temporary fencing to keep people out till an area has more than one ride and is worth checking out. there is some excavators on the work shop that will make it look like that area is under construction.
A cool addition to the amphitheater would be a sign advertising upcoming shows but maybe pick upcoming artists who blew up in the future. Could be a cool story to say that Grand States saw the potential before anyone else and had them in for a few shows.
If you’re still having issues with guest walking through scenery and buildings I’ve since a few other creators like Rudi talk about how Frontier finally added the functionality to the barrier pieces so they’ll block guests now!
I think they're great as is right now. When we get custom billboards and custom audio it would be great to see these updated with real images and sounds!
I feel like every 3 - 5 years would be sufficient. Wouldn't want to lose track of the story through larger time jumps. As you get more into the 80's, one thing that might be fun would be a video dance area along the lines of Disneyland's Videopolis. I remember hearing that it was a huge fad at regional amusement parks even before Disney got in on the action, apparently they built theirs to compete with the one at Knott's Berry Farm.
@@BeyondDrewTV NAH im tired of water parks on youtube . like damm its more to pc2 than water parks. thank you for just doing a park and making it realistic. just 5 years ahead pls
Take a walk around the opening season of Grand States Mid-America! 3R0-LQX-CCH

Maybe you should add a saloon to the historic village
That would fit in nicely!

I like the idea that per episode or near enough moves the "year" forward. This series is awesome though and I can't wait to see how it progresses!

I'm with ya, we need a midway pack!!
Drew, it really looks nice. This is something from my time and it reminds me of my childhood!!! thank you for sharing this :D

I'm with ya that's the sort of investment that would fit perfectly in the park!

My reasoning would be in 10 years atractions would come and go between we would even see them if it jumps 10 years.

I'm all for this idea! I'll look into some mid 80s artists to see who fits the bill to perform at the park
This park is amazing! Wow! I could definitely imagine myself seeing vomit splash from the corkscrew element over the path on that coaster 😂😅
haha We'll have to put up a Watch for Vomit warning sign!!
My opinion is a time jump every time a big new investment comes in, with random episodes in between of smaller updates.
I think and arrow shuttle loop or Schwarzkopf Looping Star would be awesome

You should watch the royal myle by nerd chacho he did something similar in planet coaster 1
def. skip ahead 10 years and maybe even add a water park if you choose I'd love to see that
