8:45 Australian here, every town in the country has a yearly "show". They started out as agricultural competitions. Best cow, largest pumpkin etc, but then evolved into I suppose what you would call a carnival. Temporary rides, midway games, maybe a dirt bike jump show and fireworks at the end of the night. A very common part of these shows is the woodchopping. Big guys, big logs and big axes. Sounds basically the same as your lumberjack show.
I love this! In the next installment I would really love to see corny "animatronic" scenes in the sheds of the mine ride- a prospector on a rocking chair, a gas lamp that's lit with just a light bulb, maybe an annoying banjo-filled song that doesn't get updated for 40 years, that sort of thing.
17:10 Reminds me of Six Flags Over Georgia's log flume. The trees have grown in so much over 50 years that the trees LITERALLY have grown into the wood station and queue deck. The entire ride you're like, up in the tops of the trees. It's really great. Short, but one of the best rides in the park. 25:05 Dang, I haven't noticed how terrible the water looks in the log flumes. No sense of water flowing or waving. I used to try and sink my log flumes into actual terrain water in PC1. Just for large pools and the better water.
@@BeyondDrewTV Is it possible to tweak the color of the inside of the flume? In RCT3 and PC1, I would change the flume colors to a dark teal color to make the water look a smidge less cartoony. Doesn't completely fix it, but it does help.
I just stumbled on this video and I really love this! While most Planet Coaster players try to to build large, lavish and super detailed theme parks, I absolutely love the simplistic and more organic look and feel of this park. Truly Americana at its finest! And the intros and story are fantastic! Keep up the great work!
This is stunning, I'm loving how this park is growing! I love it so much! Seriously inspiring me so much, I cant wait to try something like it in my game! Also, thanks for the shout out, my build looks great in the park! thank you again! 😁
Paul Bunyan's friend is actually called Babe the Blue Ox! An interesting bit of folklore surrounding Paul Bunyan is that he was a giant and he created the Grand Canyon by pulling his axe behind him, along with his footprints creating the 10,000 lakes that Minnesota is known for.
My vote for next add is for an Arrow looper (which you snag at a discount because the mine ride) opened in the late 70's. I fiddled with the park yesterday and put in what was essentially a Carolina Cyclone-clone and it seemed to fit quite nicely.
Fun fact: the airhorn sound on most flatrides probably is „inspired“ by real life regulations in some countrys. Spinning flatrides in some countrys need a horn sound before start to make everyone aware to stay clear of the ride :)
Additional menu item options for the Shamrock Cafe: Pot o' Gold (bucket of chicken nuggets), Leprechaun Fingers (french fries), Rainbow Delight (fruit parfait with literally every color of fruit), Liquid Gold (gooseberry, salmon berry, and apricot smoothie), and The Horseshoe Platter (ribs arranged to look like horseshoes). Why yes, I do indeed like to cook. Also, if you can, decorate the area around the Shamrock Cafe with something that looks like white heather (a flower; the ol' Google machine can show ya pics). In Irish/Scottish culture, white heather is seen as lucky.
My family used to go to a lumberjack show in pigeon forge TN when I was little. Yeah I think it just an American thing..lol. for the shamrock diner. How bout a 4 leaf color salad. Or a pot of gold combo. That's a burger with onion rings..lol. can't wait to see what happens. Good luck!!
I really hope this “through the years” build isn’t a one off and becomes the standard for how you make your parks. Would love to see how a theme park with a high starting budget (think Disneyworld when it first opened) progresses through the years
Take a look around the park - 3R0LQXCCH

Oh wow that sounds really similar to our county fairs here in the States! Really cool to see how similar people are despite distance
dude, i love your intros so much on this series lol. so good. insane how quickly you're making progress on this.
Thanks buddy!

Great ideas! When we get custom audio in the game we'll have to find the annoying banjo song and add it haha!

I really hope they update the look of the water for flumes! I agree it doesn't look great

Thank you! I absolutely love watching those detailed builds but I tend to put the story first then the build second 👍
Your umbrellas outside the Shamrock cafe should be Green and White for continuity.
Very cool park!
You're right! Green and white would look much better 👍
I’m really enjoying this series! The lumberjack show was such a good idea!! I’m excited to see more.
This is stunning, I'm loving how this park is growing! I love it so much! Seriously inspiring me so much, I cant wait to try something like it in my game!

It's the perfect building for the park! Hopefully it stays with the park through the decades 👀😎

I love the grown trees at the flume. I also love how you keep saying "Great One"😂
haha dangit! Hopefully by the end of the series I'll call my project the right name lmao
Love this series. I look forward to each new video.
Great episode buddy! Love the lore it’s adding 🔥
Thank you!
This looks fantastic! Keep the episodes coming
eventually you should build a classic inverted coaster
Ya! We'll have to come back to this idea once we hit the 90s

That sounds like a great next addition!
The Shamrock Cafe looks like a great place for shaved ice/snow cones!
I'm with ya let's add that!
Love the realism in this park. It really captures the feel of a mid tier country theme park.
Fun fact: the airhorn sound on most flatrides probably is „inspired“ by real life regulations in some countrys. Spinning flatrides in some countrys need a horn sound before start to make everyone aware to stay clear of the ride :)
Very interesting I didn't know that!
Guinness beer for the Shamrock Cafe.
Nice! That's almost a gimme for the cafe 😁

Awesome! So many great choices 🙌 I think I can pull off the white heathers as well 🧐
Great videos.
8 think you should add Green River and Green River malts to the shamrock Cafe. Green River is an old soda that might work perfectly.
That’s a great idea! I’ll have to get some Green River added to the shamrock cafe.
You need an older style corkscrew coaster next, with just like a few simple old school inversions
I love that idea! It would be a perfect fit for the park.

I would love a midway games DLC for this game
Knobels mentioned!!
The buildings make me think of the food stalls at the Tx or Kc renfest grounds,
29:17
What the hell was that?! Who brought their new-born baby on the ride 😭😭
Lmao seriously that's the craziest scream I've ever heard 😂
You should custom design your own one of those basketball minigames with custom netting along the side and a hoop and all
I like the idea of custom designed minigames!
Said great one at the start again 🤣
Gosh dangit haha I'll get it right by the end of the series 😂
May I suggest turning the alpine buildings into a Festhaus like the one from Kings Island?
Nice I really like that idea! Could maybe add a big back porch area overlooking the river and Grand One as well. Fun idea!
cool👍👍
Fun fact arrow made there track on site by hand
You should limit the guests so the mobs will leave 🤣🤣
YES. It was becoming difficult to film anything due to how many guests there are haha
"build a coaster"
DONT TELL ME HOW TO LIVE MY LIFE
@BeyondDrewTV why can't we heart react back, brother? 😂❤️
A biergarten could be cool if no dlc
Ohh I love that idea!
Before moving on to a next decade, you should save the park.
You bet. I'll upload the 1978 season to the workshop before moving on 👍
