    I've been a professional tattooer for 23 years and normally can't stand youtube tattoo videos but this is actually pretty proper information. Maybe also include machine speed for beginners they seem to forget about how important the functionality of the machine is, if your machine isn't running properly none of this information matters because you'll be fighting the machine the entire time.

    Dayum...Thank You Bruh. This is next level shading techniques. I appreciate it because most tattoo artists will not give anybody these types of knowledge. Thanks for sharing your secret recipe and being REAL. ITS a WIN - WIN situation. For the artist, better tattooing, and for the client, better healing process which means better tattoos. Thank you.

    I’m glad I had an apprenticeship but now that I have my license I’ve finally found the information I’ve been looking for from you! Thank you so much your videos are VERY clear and with the foundations I have im gonna be set. If you are reading this and don’t have an apprenticeship or license please find one. Majority of schools are expensive scams but even they teach you all the info you need about bbp, proper sanitation, sterilization, etc. how to do all of the legal paperwork and cya while being safe…

      Guys. Don't worry about an apprenticeship. Just get materials and practice on your own! Apprenticeship is not a necessity. Just think. Literally the best tattoo artist in my town didn't apprentice. Sadly he's not in my town any more because he's on to bigger and better things than a podunk middle of nowhere town.

      Don’t call, take your portfolio into the shop. Talk to the artists. We’re just people too, if they’re mean to you you don’t wanna work there. Draw more than you think you should. They won’t teach you how to draw. They’re gonna teach you how to be clean. Get the apprenticeship it’s worth it.

    It seems like no matter what technique I use, or how much volts I use, or whether I use round or magnum shaders I still need to go over the area about 20 times or more in order to get a full dark shade on real skin. Sometimes even when going over an area of real skin I get no shade at all in that area. When I practice on fake skin i get a full dark shade in about seven to ten strokes. I'm using Dragonhawk two coil shadding and colour packing machines with Starbright Ink. I've seen so many professional and even beginner artist get a full dark shade with much less. Do you know what I might be doing wrong, or have any ideas that might help me?

    • @SunnyBhanushali
      @SunnyBhanushali  5 років тому +1

      Fati Zahrani using A&D helps skin to stay moist and soft which helps needles to move in and out of the skin easily. Secondy, it keeps your skin clean, as you put A&D before pushing the ink, the extra spill around the area stays over the A&D layer, and when you wipe it, it comes off easily and the tattoo area stays clean

    Best video I have ever seen on shading techniques. Absolutely love how you break it down first with the diagrams, then show how you apply the techniques with the physical machine. Thanks so much! You just got a new fan and subscriber!

    If you mix backwards won’t you make the lighter color darker from adding darker ink when you mix it?

    So you usually keep your power around 8 to 8.5 for shading what do you keep it around for lining?

    • @SunnyBhanushali
      @SunnyBhanushali  5 років тому +1

      Brandon lately I have been working with really slow speeds and it works wonders. Now I do run my lining on 7 to 7.5 volts for Cheyenne thunder and same for shading with Cheyenne Spirit. Remember, every machine requires different power so I don’t recommend you to follow exactly those numbers rather find the right speed for your machine through experimenting few combinations

      Thanks sunny you’re great keep up the good work I just bought a mast pen to try over a tradition coil machine and I really enjoy it I run lining at 8 and shading at 7 and it seems to work great
