IONS - CATION & ANION [ AboodyTV ] Chemistry
Why can't teachers teach this way? Simple and straight to the point. It's the best way.
yes its all teachers fault they r jst after finishing chapters.
cuz prolly they dont wanna get fired 😂😂
I can literally learn more from a 2 minute video than a whole weeks worth of school
ANSWERS
What is an ion?
Ans: An ion is a charged atom that can either be positively or negatively charged depending on the number of electrons gained or lost
Define the two types of ions
Ans:
Cation: An ion which loses 1 or more electrons and becomes positively charged
Anion: An ion which gain 1 or more electrons and becomes negatively charged
Einstein says if you can't explain something in a simple way you haven't understood it well enough
So....irrelevant to how wonderful he just taught us
Thanku for this information
Tujhe hi tere ghar aake Einstein ne kha tha kya?😂😂😂LOL
or maybe he is a fat earther

Teacher took 2 hours to teach ions
You taught the same in 2 minutes.
SAME ✨
true
Very simple and understandable explanation.
Yeah agreed.
Answer 1:
An element having positive or negative charge is called ion
Answer 2:
There are 2 types of ions
CATIONS
Elements which lose electron and become positive
ANION
elements which gain electrons and become negative
thank you very much sir
Jazakillah.
Lol
An element should be replaced by an atom** in all answers.

Tomorrow is my exam and I've studied nothing. Everything is so hard in my book and notes but u made it very clear, simple and easy!!!!! Can't thank you enough 😭😭😭❤️
Thanks Pal , I've been hitting my head in order to study it. Very simple Explanation !!!
Simple and clear explanation. Straight to the point. No need to overcomplicate things. Thanks a lot.
Love the vid, easy and simple to understand. And those questions at the end helped me memorized it even more.
Ions is in negative and positive charge. Cations and anions. Cations has negative charge and anions has positive charge.
Thank you. Thank you sooo much. My biggest pet peeve with my chemistry class I’m currently taking (which is a first level chemistry class) is that even with TWO teachers they think it’s fair to throw out chemistry terms without defining them effectively, or giving a quality resource to learn those terms. I didn’t pay for a college chemistry class to teach myself chemistry. Thank you with a thousand hearts to all you awesome UA-camrs providing clean, clear and concise resources to learn these subjects and relieve some of the pain from the learning experience. 💖 much love, and best regards!
Very useful, understandable and absolutely less time consuming video....
Love the video, very easy for my students to understand. I would love it even more if you paused then answered the questions that you asked in the video.
Great video but you have mispelled “protons”. There is no ‘e’.
After seeing lot of videos, this was the only video which explained well and straight to the point, thank you so much.
An Ion is an element that is either positive or negative.
Cation is a positively charged atom cuz it have lost an electron and has more protons than electron
Anion on the other hand is the opposite which mean it have lost a proton making it a negatively charged ion
Anions are atoms that have gained electrons. Correct
Really easy to understand, thanks a lot! :)
I wish our teachers would explain the way you do ... great video . Thanks
Yes, l was paying attention n here's the answer to the questions:-
1. Define an ion.
Ans - When an atom loses or gain electrons, it form ions. So, electrically charged atoms or group of atoms are called ions.
2. Name and explain the two type of ions.
Ans - The two type of ions are - cations and anions.
Cations - When an atom loses electrons, it becomes positively charged. So, positively charged ions are called cations.
Anions - When an electron gains electrons, it becomes negatively charged. So, negatively charged ions are called anions.
An ion is a charge particle .it consists two types of ions such as 1.Cations: the ions which gain electrons and become positively protons.
2.Anions: the ions which gain positively protons and become negatively electrons .

Mom:why you break the phone
Me:Because i smashed the like button 😂
1.An ion is a charged particle
2.There are two ions they are cation and anion. The cation is positively charged particle which loses one or more than one electron. The anion is negatively charged particle which gains one or more than one electron.
Short and sweet, right to the point, thx.
A very good video showed in a simple way
Never thought I'll understand this in just 2 mins. tysm!
The only video i understand is from this channel keep it up!
U explained in very short and sweet manner.... I lost my marks in this concept itself but now I understood it in a best manner 👍
Yep...I've payed attention...juz a simple explanation nd made me learn that concept.. really this is the best way of teaching...
Thanks buddy .. got my doubt cleared😘👍👍👏👏
Ion.a charged particle is called ion either it is positive charge or negative charge
You teaches very easily even a hard topic thank u sir
1. Ion is a charged particle either having a +ve charge or -ve charge.
2. Two types of ions are cation and anion
Cation- +vely charged ions e.g. Mg²+, H+
Anion- -vely charged ions e.g. Cl-, NO3-
Best explanation video of an ions👍👍👍
I joined online classes it helps me much for doing my work
Thank you very much sir🙂
So good helped me so mulch I understood ions in 5 Sec my this vid keep up the good work
😂 his introducing method is nice 👍 😂 😜
An ion is generally an atom that has either lost or gained electrons.
an ion is a charged particle with un equal protons and electrons and the two types of atoms and cation and anion cation is positivly charged and anion is negitivly charged particle thank u very much for explaning sir. excellent
Thanks for it 😊 Love from India
My book: 10 page overly wordy and confusing explanation
This video: perfectly explains everything in less than 2 minutes
This video is more helpful for us.. Your teaching skills are good 👍
Very good
thank you so much, this is simple and to the point
You cleared my consept. Thank you
Thank sir for explaining this topic I understood completely
An atom or molecule with a net electric charge due to the loss or gain of one or more electrons.
Thank you very much!. You clear it well
understood this in less than 2 mins thank you
Dude I love UA-cam so much. Thank you for the video!
Wonderful 👍👏👏
Super explanation I just understood crystal clear thank you

Answer 1:An atom having a positive or negative charge is called an Ion.
Answer 2:They are two types of Ions,Cations and Anions
If an atom loses electrons it becomes a Cation which is a positive charged atom.
If an atom gains electrons it becomes a Anion which is a negative charged atom.
Nice and simple explanation. Highly impressed!
Fantastic explanation sir👌👌👌👌
an ion is also called radicals,it is a charged particle, with enqual number of protons and eletrons or ion is a atom which has loss or gained atom
Cation and Anion are two types of ions cation are positively charged ions on other hand anion has are negatively chargedions
Was easy to understand. Thanks
ION; Atom or molecule having positive or negative charge is called an ion.
there are two types of ions; 1) Cation 2) Anion
1)Cation; ions which loses electrons or positivel charged ions are called cations.
2)Anion; ions which gains the electron or negativity charged ions are called anions.
1. Atom species which carry charge are called ions.
2. The atom which gain electron get -ve charge are called anions.
The atom which loss electron get +ve charge are called cations.
Yes sir I get learned and enjoyed.
Helped a lot thank u sir thank u so much 😍 😍 😘😘😘
Ion - basically an atom that loses a electron or gain a electron
Cation - when loses a electron (became positively charged) .maybe the no. Of protons become more than electrons.
Anion - when gain a electron
(Negatively charged)
Nice explication
Well done Aboody TV. Very Good Video.
Thank you :D
Thanks 🙏
Love u sir UR simplicity
Excellent teaching (very simple and this is easy way to explain) keep it up
1.the charge atom called ions
2. There are two types of ions i. Cation -the positively charged atom
2. Anion the negatively charged atom
Ion of two charges there are negative charge and positive charge the second answer in the is there are two types of there are two types of ion there are cation and anion cation which loses one atom and anion which gains the one atom canaion which can lose one atom or any how many atoms and also anaion can gain how many atoms
A nice video, it’s really help me, thank you, can I ask you what is the website or app to make that video? That hand moving and thank you again
I like the intro
in the name of a binary compund, is the cation comes before the anion?
Thank you sir for solving this ions
An ion is a charged particles which is either positively charged or negatively charged.
The two types of ion are cation and annion.
Cation is positively charged and annion is negatively charged.
An ion is a atom which can either lose or gains electrons .
Luv this video so understandable
Thank you
Elements having positive charge or negative charge
2 types,
Cation ,anion
Thanks for you help it really needed...🍁🍁
