Great video I watch you build the 54 as the Dodge that you and the wife drove home and build keep the video coming I look for you ever week . Watching from California just old man retired mechanic that still wants to learn something
I am a new subscriber as of last night. I just finished watching your newest video on the 54 and realized that is the truck that I SO ADMIRED on Power Tour videos that I watched!I came across your channel accidentally while scanning you tube.GLAD I FOUND YOU!
Good to see you get the rat rod fixed hope to see you again next year! And have you heard of Ratstock? Next year they are doing a ratrod tour from Clayton NC to Langley, IL, in September. Ratstock2 was last week it had around 400 Rat Rods there.
@@rippingburnouts First, love your account name. 😎 We recently watched a UA-cam video of Ratstock. Looked awesome! We’ll have to put it on next year’s schedule. Day 5 in that small town when everyone was revving their engines was awesome!😎
@@ridgerunnergarage Good Times! I'm planing a 1940 ford for next year and if all goes well I plan to drive the wheels off it next year and do some more traveling! Especially when it's in a group of cool cars and great people!
Looking forward to seeing the GMC back out at the car shows/meets. Hopefully no more issue come up for a while! And I saw your comment to cheapandeasymods about the windshield, that’s a bummer….

@@ridgerunnergarage I did. I’ve even had UA-cam unsubscribe me from people I follow. I wouldn’t say it’s common but it’s not uncommon. I had a rather large channel a few years back and heard other content creators talk about themselves and subscribers being unsubscribed from channels as well. The common thought is it’s UA-cam’s algorithms and AI at work.
I'm just wondering could you grind down 1/8 on top window channel and 1/8 on bottom also to make the window seal? That's Definitely one sweet ride you Made! Keep up the great work!!
@@cheapandeasymods That’a great idea but it’s not just the window opening, it’s the lip of the roof. I got a new seal today and finally had it going in right and….. yup, I broke the windshield.
@@ridgerunnergaragedamn it man! Sorry to hear that hopefully your windshield doesn't cost you an arm and a leg!! You know the old saying it's always something! But at least you got some new seals that are going to work!!
@@cheapandeasymods There not very expensive 250-300 but I still have to figure out how to get it in. The local glass guys can’t do it. I did find one guy on UA-cam doing it and it involves suction cups and ratchet straps. 🤦🏻♂️
@@ridgerunnergarage yea back when I was a teenager I remember some of the old school mechanics doing the ratchet strap and suction cup it works but it's still scary!! Good luck and at least you'll have some good content coming up!!
