Congrats on the 500+, you deserve to climb! And you will! I like that lift system. Tracy doing the grill will be a big help! As always nice fab work brother!
Hey Jason, Good to see the body dropped back onto the chassis. You keep it up and you will be takin Ned fur a spin ! Hey Congrats on the 500, who wooda thunk it ? Be Safe and Well
It’s encouraging to see it on the chassis, can’t wait to get it at least primed. It’s encouraging to get subscribers. But it’s great to correspond with like minded people like yourself. Thanks again for being here. Be safe and well yourself
I'm taking notes from all your metal working videos. I just found a half inch of bondo on the left rear corner of my CJ2A. I'll eventually need to run the gauntlet on rust and damage repair... Congratulations on 500 subscribers.
I’m still finding hidden areas of Bondo.at least the it’s really easy to make patch panels, everything is really flat.Thankyou I’m still surprised anyone would watch, but I definitely appreciate that they do
Getting there! Great feeling isn’t it? You,re almost done now, but I found a couple of those straight edged welding magnets to be invaluable when tacking in those flat panels. Keep after it, looking good!
It is a great feeling, it goes from overwhelming. To all of a sudden it starts coming together. I need to get some of those magnets. Thanks for being here and being part of this
I'd really like to know the dimensions of your tub hoist platform, and more specifically, the wood you used over head to support the block and tackle, and the tub? I am getting ready to remove my tub and will have to build a similar structure. It would really help save time and money if I could "copy" yours. Thank you.
I can definitely give you the dimensions. It probably would be easier to do a video on it. I’ll do it as soon as I can. It’s all construction grade 2x4s and 2x6sx8’ long.
@@NortheastVintage I started with flux core then I upgraded 75/25 gas with MiG and it was cleaner welds( less grinding needed. I think both are equal strength. So if you don’t mind grinding a little more, flux core would be fine
Hello, could you pass me the videos in order or the name of them in order so I look for them step by step, they are extremely interesting and at this moment I am rebuilding a CJ3 from 48
Congrats on 500+, Looking like a Jeep again! I need to get back to finishing the metal work on my cj5. BTW, what do you plan to use to strip the paint?
Congratulations back to you, your Carlisle videos were great. We aren’t 100 percent sure yet what we are going to use yet to remove the paint. Thanks for watching and commenting
Look who’s over 500 now!
Looks nice having the body back on the chassis, looking forward to the next video!!
Thanks Gary,it’s really feels like it’s coming together
Nice Willys build!
Thankyou for being part of it

Thankyou my friend, that has been working pretty well, I’m glad I don’t have to buy those 2x4s now. Tracie is always a lot of help on these projects.

What gauge metal are you using for the repair?
Mostly 20guage and a combination of 18guage and 1/8”

Nice job! What gauge sheet metal are you using?
Thanks Matt, I think it’s 20 gauge, it was some scrap I had hanging around. So it’s either 20 or 18.
@@royworks28 Thanks. Going to do the same with my ‘48 soon. The flat panels are going to be greats practice for me. Flux core or mig?

@@royworks28 Thanks! You may want to check Amazon for 4 1/2" paint stripping wheels. That's what use, knocks off paint fast.
@@OldCarGarageUSA Thankyou I’ll check it out. I think Tracie got something similar to what you’re recommending
