Now I know what this waypoints flight is all about! Dry run first and at the same time add points along the desired route, set parameters etc... then replay it for thet smooth and cinematic footage free of pauses and jerkiness. I only have just a question Bob, what would be the best speed settings to achieve the best cinematic video run? Thanks again for simplifying this functionality.
nice video. at the 14:03 mark you say, this can also be fixed....but I could not hear what you said? (zoom section) and are you a golfer? Why are the fairways yellow but everything else is green?rough is green?
I fixed this issue using editing in my newest video called "Angeles National Golf Club". I used to golf years ago. We have a severe water shortage in southern California but I'm not sure why the fairways are yellow.
I have filmed in this area a lot so I became very familur with the airspace in this area. I really wanted to film the Sepulvada Dam (a couple of miles away from the golf course) but couldn't get approval from the FAA.
In short, and speaking about projecting a flight from "home", unless they modify many, many things, the waypoint module is completely inaccurate. Beginning with the maps the they should get quite a lot nearer the ground. i.e. A tower of a castle looks so little on the map..... apart from that the inaccuracy of creating waypoints with the finger.... totally unprecise..... my e-pencils do NOT work with the DJI RC PRO, so have to add points with the tip of my finger. And why the heck do I have to use the RC control for that? The lack of possibility to create waypoints on the laptop would also simplify things. Nothing difficult... if Dronelink and litchi can do it, why not DJI. If they want to improve, there should be more firmwares to come!! Any ideas coming from anyone will be welcome
@@DroneFlyingwithUncleBob But if you do it along the way, you use battery. I think an expensive drone coming from the #1 manufacturer should do things more accurately
What a good video. Great explanation of how to make the waypoints out in the field. I have only made one video with waypoints but plotted it from home then went out to fly it. ua-cam.com/video/U6oVYFzNNWk/v-deo.html I will have a go at making another waypoint mission whilst out flying using your tips. Thanks for showing how easy it is.
That was really cool Bob. I’m impressed with the software.
Thanks Bob for sharing it’s always good information or a great video. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks !
Amazing technology, good video Bob.
Thank you.
Good video and explanation. I'll have to try a similar mission with my Skydio 2 soon. Keep up the good work and nice editing and voice over.
Thank you 🙏

@@DroneFlyingwithUncleBob and you are dancing with class D airspace. Not a not of room to fly to the southwest.

I didn't preplan this mission using the map. I flew the mission manually and added waypoints along the way.
