I love how the choker has a "P" on it, you can interpret it differently, "P" for "Potters" to show his loyalty to james and the Potters and "P" as in "Padfoot" to signify his animagus form, nickname, and pranking/friend name.

I love how young the Marauders and Lily look in the first half, because they were all young adults (20-21 ish) when James and Lily died. It's a nice touch and it hits home how horrible their situation was.

They would look like that at that time (talking bout the mirror of erised) since they would be 32 ish
I suppose, and that *would* be how Harry would imagine them - that’s probably around the age Petunia looked, and the Mirror of Erised was the first time he’d be seeing his parents (that he remembers anyway). But if you mean like in the picture and photo album (I can’t remember if the pictures in it actually shown on screen) then yeah, they *should* look like they’re in their like early twenty
head empty, thinking about the symbolism of the frame and music for 1:42 with Remus busting in to save Sirius from Harry and how he was not able to save James or Lily or Sirius the first time

I just realised that at 0:21 all four of the Marauders' footprints (pawprints?) are there,
because they're all alive, but at 1:21 the hoofprint is missing because Prongs is dead,
and now I'm sad--
hehehe >:) i also lowered the opacity on wormtails’ print a bit to illustrate his faked death but it’s sorta difficult to tell 😭
@@PurpleRavage while trying to see Peter's print i finally found out that Sirius was in the jail and then flashbacks came running at me reminding how he got trapped in Azkaban
also when Peter's footprint disappeared but James died and his footprint just faded a bit i thought Peter's footprint disappeared because he was no longer apart of the maurauders since he betrayed them and James's footprint didnt disappear completely because he never betrayed the maurauders-

Omg this is like the best animatic I’ve ever seen! The story of the marauders legit makes me shed a tear everytime because it’s just crazy how quiet Peter turned into a traitor.
they should have trusted sirius or remus. i would prefer sirius because he is my favorite character but it kills me how much sirius missed james. atleast we know he got to see him again.

I don’t understand why Harry didn’t let them kill Peter. It would’ve saved Voldemort from coming back in the next book. None of the other Death Eaters would’ve sacrificed themselves for the dark lord. I don’t get it at all.
they probably didn’t anticipate just how much damage wormtail would cause. at the time, they saw it as a moral thing to do (and something james would do!) and spared his life. but uh if they knew he’d escape, save voldemort, and then slice his hand off the revive him... he’d definitely be dead
