man, I really love this handheld, big enough for my hand and also the chipset are great for the price, maybe they should focus on emulation ps2 game in the future, would love to play game like GOW 2 and need for speed carbon, 60 at 2x resolution. Is it weird that I prefer d pad location and the joystick location to be swap? like in nintendo switch? Another thing is I would pay extra 20 buck if they slap in some video output and maybe a stylus.
the sd card readed works its not a defect you accidentally tripped a little metal lever inside of it user error just go in there with a tooth pick or needle and switch the lever back up u cant miss it when u look in there ull see the lever it happend to me easy fix i thought anbernic sucked with build quality and it broke when i had the same issue but tbh it was my fault for pressing in and out my sd card over and over and noticed it happend when i half way pushed it in
Some people are more bothered by frameskip than others, so I just avoid it since it is a compromised gaming experience. If it doesn’t bother you then yea you totally can get some more games running! Thanks for watching! 😊

Other than my issue with the microSD card slot breaking it really is a great device! I found that I had more than enough internal storage for a pretty wide variety of games. I never like the quality of content on included microSD cards for these devices. It’s always better to provide your own. Thanks for watching! 😊
You don't need a grip on this, active cooling, bigger battery, hall sensor sticks plus it's cheaper so there's that. RP3 plus on the other hand got better screen, first party software and stacked shoulder buttons. I settled with rp3 plus but the 405v and the recent 556 look really enticing.
I agree. I tried Gamma on another device and while I think it’ll get to a point where it’s great and optimized, I found the included Android build on Anbernic devices is a little better at the moment
to me its Beyond crazy you have an issue with anbernic build quality every other review says they have the best build quality out of all them if anbernic for you has bad build quality what do you think about powkiddy or retro pocket those have really bad build quality

It’s a great option! Performance wise the 405v can handle every game I’ve tested, no problems! Harder to run games like Goldeneye, Pokémon Snap and Mario Tennis run awesome!

I keep hearing PS2 emulation is hit and miss. Its either it runs great, or most of the time you have to tweek the emulator to make it work right. Is this a fair opinion? Or does it do really, really well? Or not?
Hit or miss as in, some games run great, most games not so much. Some games are playable with tweaks, others are borderline playable depending on your tolerance for framskips. So it’s not a one size fits all, but more like - depends on what game you want to play

I’ll talk about this in my next video, but take a look at the latest nightly release of the official release for Dolphin. It works really well! You may need to apply some underclocking though!

I’ll never get another one of the Anbernics. Most of 10k games are lame. Many have no art. Names are abbreviated. No common way to access save state and other options. Get a system running Jelos from someone else,like Powkiddy. Way better. Anbernic sucks.

I don't have this device but I heard if you tinker around and add frame skip it helps a lot for the more heavy titles. Especially Wii Games.

How you break the sdcard slot it's not a defect. I continuously remove mine to download games and never had a issue.
🤷 popped the card out and the slot wouldn’t click back in. I’ve been having build quality issues with Anbernic in my last several reviews

I bought off eBay, with 128g card. With 1100 games. Listed as mystery gift. Sadly no Mario games on the card, but might be on the 256 card
