Glad it was helpful! When you are painting your stripes try to get them even in width - I think it is a fun way to mix real life watercolor paint and digital art.

Wow, you must have read my mind in creating this video. I just today watched a free video from Design Cuts featuring Tangie Baxter that had a completely different use of the Effects Blend Options that you have discussed here. Ms. Baxter referenced the fact that this tool (Effects_Blend Options) has many uses. I wondered what some other uses of this tool might be. I then turned to my email notifications and saw you had this video and found you explaining how this tool can be used to tweak patterns in Photoshop. Thanks for sharing this use of the Blend Options.
