Is there a way to apply wind and blur effect to BLACK type on a white background?

Sort of. What you do is to do exactly what I did and then add an Invert Adjustment Layer on top of everything. That flips black and white. However, it also flips that beautiful blue colour and makes it horrible red (that's my opinion anyway). So go back into the Hue/Saturation adjustment layer and adjust the colour on the wind bits.
I just did it now to test it for you and it works perfectly.

First of all check to make sure that Pressure works on something else. You need to determine if it is just your Calligraphy brush and not your pen itself that is the problem.
