I swear only things that are different are no bucket seats and a new front grill. Some comfort features like wireless CarPlay but I’ll keep my buckets ngl
There is an Avante N (Elantra N) model in an online racing game called City Racer, which has been in service in Korea for 20 years. City Racer continues to release new vehicles.
so sad seeing all the features that the other markets get over US, blind spot cameras, memory seats, park sensors, birds eye reverse cam, AND that beautiful ecotronic gray pearl
*I've noticed that life in South Korea seems to be very slow and relaxed. Good if that's what you're looking for, but there doesn't really seem to be the need for a vehicle like a car or SUV/CUV since all the speeds there are extremely low. I feel that a scooter or even a bicycle would be enough and would get you anywhere in similar time. The only reason you'd need a vehicle would be the roof to protect you from rain, snow or extreme cold or heat.*
Bucket seats are optional in Korea. Maybe other countries are basic installations Bucket seat options are expensive and excluded from that rental vehicle.
This is the Korean Avante N, which doesn't have the racing seats, but it does have an e-brake and auto hold feature. In America were stuck with the manual handbrake.
I have a 2023 convenience Package Elantra and mine has the Auto Hold. I have a lot of safety features also it even lets me know when a car in front of me pulls off incase you’re at a light not paying attention or something. Pretty cool car Ima trade it for the N model in 2025 so I can be one of the only ones with it😂 they aren’t going to make these cars for too long man and I hate it
@@TiceGotThemBlicks Yeah the new EN model is a nice refresh, especially the front bumper IMO... Such a fantastic car, and it's custom performance settings are comparable to cars that are triple its price like the M3 / M4 and CT5-V Blackwing. Hope you get one 👍
@@Daveyboy_RS3 bro I think I’m the only one that likes the 2023 Bumper grill better than the 2024. I just like The bigger grill but the 2024 is still very nice and I’ll still get it regardless if they don’t have a 2023 version.
@@TiceGotThemBlicks honestly I've never seen one in person. Not a 23 or a 24. I live in Miami and I see Ferraris and McLaren's everyday, but never seen an N, or a GR Corolla, or the new FL-5 Civic type R. Very rare... I guess I'd have to see the original EN front bumper, as well as the new one in person and then I could give a fair comparison.
I feel like rwd would of been great, make it as fun as possible and get rid of that wheel hop. Think they could of added a little more power too even another 15kw would of been good
I understand why all the manufacturers are making all cars GDI now, but come on...this is supposed to be a hopped up beater!!! Cant we get some good ole multi point EFI???
@@veraxin4701 This is the 2024 version. From what I have seen usually the Korean models are fully loaded because of how tight the roads are and tight spaces. (Ex. They have power folding mirrors where US/CA models dont). But I do think the US and CA models will have the turn signal camera but will only be for the Limited trim
Dont drive high RPM so long, if you will not bang them exhaust.... Its not good for the car, or the oil. Why do that for no reason, Put it manual, drive it normal, or floor it....
They slightly stiffened the lower engine mount. There’s really only so much you can do to reduce wheel hop before you start increasing engine vibration in the car
@Courtesyflush52 That is what I've heard that the new EN will get a new engine mount, but it seems like their are no wheel hop difference between 2022 EN and 2024 EN.
Must be nice to have adaptive cruise and memory / ventilated seats in an EN. I personally would rather pay $800 less for the non-bucket seats and have ventilated/lumbar support. In fact, let's just take that $800 saved from seating and put it into the adaptive cruise option.
@@peterhong526 I agree for the regular seat with ventilated and heated features. I have 2020 kia forte gt and it has the best seat ever. But for the cruise control, I found myself that the "regular" cruise control is more comfortable for me. I don't know about kia's or hyundai's adaptive cruise control, but Tesla's adaptive cruise control sucks. It lags to brake or accelerate. If kia or hyundais has better adaptive cruise control, I'd buy it.
@@peterhong526 It would be nice if they added ventilation into the bucket seats. As it is the bucket seats in NA are so good for cornering I wouldn't want to give them up. Definitely don't want adaptive cruise though. I find it such a nuisance, they have to make it smarter. Coast instead of hitting the brakes all the time.
Putting the side mirror cameras in the speedometer/tachometer circles depending on if you're turning left or right is such a slick touch.
