I personally use the ice spirit but fire spirit is good. Sometimes to put a Little bit of damage on a tower i put Larry ( non evo)with ice spirti in front, this does like 300 dmg.
I use goblins instead os skeletons bc i dont have the evolution and they survive zap and are easy to use, a bomber instead of fire spirit and goblin cage instead of cannon so i can use the brawler after defending, hunter bc i dont have the queen and arrows because i find a very hard time trying to kill firecracker that almost everyone uses. Also trying to use barbarian barrel. Do u think that's a good strategy or kinda lame?
only 1 top missing that is great: Using the archer queen ability in the enemy side and going hogs, the queen gets tanked for and if the opponent doesnt have a way to kill her, ahe gets tons of value or tower damage

Ice spirit is better in the current meta. Id say fire spirit is usually better on offence and ice spirit better on defense
