    finally a proper, professional video, I checked out another 5 before finally seeing everything clearly here, fixed a sticky backspace key in no time with just a toothpick based on these instructions

    The best video I have seen so far... All other videos just say to press the key on the hinge, but this breaks the hinge... I lost two keys by doing that. Thank you so much.

    btw, best way to clean these keyboards from all dust, sand and/or other types of particles/solids is to open the laptop up and remove everything. Display, motherboard, battery tray, speakers, wifi antenna, power button board and lastly the keyboard backlight. Then use compressed air from a can or even better, a oil free dental compressor, to blow underneath the keycaps from the top side so everything can fall out the bottom of the keyboard.

    What about damn Shift key?

      The shift key on my Macbook Air did not have a stabilizer bar and installed like the rest of the larger keys, by slipping the hooks under the top catches and pressing the bottom to snap into place
