I was initially scared of this but it turned out to be so much fun. I should have known I'd love it because I love the feeling of hangtime.
killer sesh big dawg AAAARRRRFFFFF! You can kickflip over that curb gap parking lot no problem!!!
"Why do I look like a 4 year old jumping off a curb" I feel you man xD Love your honesty :p
"I don't know why my favorite style of skating is the scariest for me" I feel that, brother.
For me, I think there's something so special about looking back at a thing that made you so afraid and you did it anyways. That is a sure confidence booster. We don't often have things in life that we can find that we can do to constantly better ourselves, and when we find scary things and we don't run from them but rather shred through them, holy shit.
Love your style and your steez my brother.
@@za7ch I appreciate your kind words because I wouldn't call it steeze lol. But thank you homie 🤘🏼
Go get that gap!
You got this.
Nice job! That ollie was a non issue, for sure, haha! I love that in skating, when you build something up in your head and then actually commit to it. It's like, "Oh, that was nothing! Why was I so worried about that!" I think Dan Corrigan said it best when he said skating is most dangerous when you're scared of what you are doing. Most of the time, if you just put your feet on the board, you'll be fine, as long as you aren't skating way outside of you abilities. Keep it up homie. Can't wait to see the clip of you hitting that gap!!!
@@shawnhagerich2559 hey I just watched that video! I think he's right too. Going at something with confidence usually works out way better than being timid
Here's a funny breaking the board story.Robby and I have together. In the 4th of july parade broke my deck 10 minutes before the parade we had to rush back to the his store to build another one.We did it and the parade was a complete success. I'm glad. To see that you're not letting opposition stand in your way.Keep up with the skating progress.Love to see it brother
@@ace_life7079 that's a great memory to have! That's awesome you were still able to make it 👊🏼
Nice one! The ollies looked great!
@@BlackMarketHoney ❤️🤘🏼
Relatable content. I had mic issues this week too, solo filming is tough sometimes! Love the commentary though, jumping off of things like this used to be the thing I was good at until I badly sprained my ankle. I tend to avoid it now!
Breaking decks is the worst. If I can, I try to bring a 2nd setup with me. Nice work on the drop. 👍
@@StuffnThings42 I've almost always kept a backup. I just never thought to bring it with me 🤣
💪🤘your Ollie off was way better than your roll off...anyways just wanted to send some positive energy your way from southwest GA. Stay at it homie
@@rogerdavis9962 right back to you homie ❤️
I'm 47 and post videos of me looking like a 4 yr old dropping in on a 4ft quarter 😂 if you are ever in NW Illinois DeKalb area I'll be ready to skate with you 🫡💪🤘
I just turned 50 , started back at age 48, I love it more now than I did in my teens...
@@hkr321hkr yo it's a deal 👊🏼
Never ride a deck until it's roached, if you have the resources. That way you always have a spare or two on standby in the trunk of your car. Not a lot of things are more disappointing than having a funky landing 15 minutes into a sesh and no spares with you.
@@edwardnonymous6804 I've almost always kept a backup but never thought to bring it to the park 😂
Don’t keep boards in the trunk during summer they gonna warp in the heat
@@spikerzombie I never had an issue. Not once. I skated from 15 years old until 40.
