A lot of the e-bikes have exposed wires like that. If you have any mechanical skills I would pull that Hub motor out and see if the nylon gears are shot..
@trsdamocles Due to ebike shop, the wires are stupid because it was explained to me that they are not thick enough, which causes issues such as using the motor at high speeds and causes the motor to burn out faster. Correct, a lot of ebikes have exposed wires, but a lot dont. You shouldn't have to do anything but breaks and tires on a 1500 bike that's 4 months old, if that.
@naturalstate8539 if the motor connections aren't melted, your good to go. Nylon gears usually chew up on the higher wattage bikes. I've had two e-bikes already that had chewed up nylon gears within the first 100 miles. Plus, I'm a little heavier so I think that might have caused it also.
@SurRonnie sure just give me 1000$, but wait, you will have to buy parts that the bike shop wanted. 200$ to 400$ to order the backbreaking system and installation. Or do it yourself. You will also probably need to buy a new motor, which is around 200$ to 400$, you also might want to watch people videos where their how the bike failed them and how the company did them as well. So be prepared.
Don't do it. Don't even think of buying a bike from these guys. As well I have proof of them lying on Amazon claiming they shut down their store, which they never did. Forget the bike they just lie 😮
@naturalstate8539 a lot of chinesium ebikes are like this, poorly designed and inadequately equipped. 1500 is kind of mid-tier for ebikes, so yea I wouldn't expect much more for that mileage.

What are you going to do with it. I'd love to have your bike. I'll take it as is.

@naturalstate8539 it's a broken bike, why is it worth $1000?
Thanks for the video such a shame I love the style but I seen other bad reviews n videos makes my decision much easier

For that much mileage, thats normal. They're not made "heavy duty".
@M.TTT. nah, the bike shop didn't find it acceptable at all. Long range ebike that's not heavy duty, that's a great mix for a 1500 bike.

Almost 36k miles on it? Id say you got your money out of it.
@ianl5669 4000 miles. 36k miles in 4 months, lol . Yes, it is very logical 👍
@@naturalstate8539 300 miles a day is logical. So
@@naturalstate8539 300 miles a day is not that unheard of.
