• Animal #protein- Patient should avoid the consumption of red meat, pork, chicken, fish, and eggs because it increases your uric acid level. High consumption of protein decreases citrate which prevents the appearance of kidney stones.
• High cholesterol food- Patient should avoid high cholesterol #food as it can increase the building of kidney stones. It is important for the kidney patients to totally avoid high oxalate food which includes, nuts, chocolates, beets, tea, swiss chard, spinach, and sweet potatoes.
• Limit your #salt intake- It is also important for the people to limit their salt intake because sodium supports the building up of calcium in urine which can result in kidney stones. It is also important for kidney stones patients to avoid canned and fast foods because it contains a high amount of sodium.
Other food items which a kidney stone patient should avoid are whole wheat bread, peas, cauliflower, spinach, mushroom, eggplant, custard apple, red lentils. Besides this kidney stone patient should also avoid meat, chicken, fish, egg, and alcohol. In the above video, we had also mentioned other fruits, vegetables, and drinks which kidney patients should avoid.

Sir I have recurring calcium oxalate kidney stone which occurs every two years . despite of taking plenty of water the problem remains.I avoid having calcium product but now another problem of calcium and vitamin d deficiency has been reported in me.I am taking weekly dose of vitamin d.I have also been suggested to take calcium supplements. Whether taking calcium supplements do not increase problem of kidney stone in me.Pls suggest what to do in this situation.Can i take calcium supplements or not?

I had a nephrolithiasis of 5.4 mm and ureterolithiasis of 5.2 mm. I was on Ayurvedic medication. One of my stone is removed, but the stone in Kidney is still there with size reduced to 4.3 mm.
