That was a good place to catch that. Even going into the tunnel as apposed to coming out. As long as there's a tunnel, some wilderness, and an end its all good.

Yeah, I raced out here to catch a couple trains which appeared to be timed to be close, and I wasnt sure which would come first. Listening to the radio, and the advice of fellow railfans, for both trains I left the spot that my first instinct put me, to run back & forth a couple times, only to catch each train in the wrong position! Not a good day! 🤬

You should've stood between the two tracks and filmed it going into the tunnel looks like there was plenty of space or you should set up a gopro pointed towards the tunnel and got the train going in or coming out for that matter just an idea if you haven't done it already.

in the fall of '85 there was a terrible flood. PoR had an equipment operator named RED.
he had a pic of his son driving his boat thru the RR TUNNEL at PoR.
