So a quick Lore lesson: Hairy lava man is a guy named Ornn, god of the forge. he has sworn (and when a god makes an oath, it's basically unbreakable) to never forge another weapon unless the world itself is in imminent danger. Ice lady with the pig is Sejuani, leader of one of the 3 major (human) tribes of the freljord (ice place), the other 2 major tribes being led by her sisters, Ashe and Lissandra (they hate eachother, don't ask) Cool viking guy who throws the axe is olaf, he's on a suicide quest to die in glorious combat because a Seer said he'd die peacefully in his sleep in bed when he was old. The bears are the children of Volibear, storm god (popped up in the clouds briefly), he hates Ornn. moving on the spartna guy, that's pantheon (technically he's a dude possessed by pantheon) and is the god of war, not to be confused with Kratos. he's climbing mount targon (basically mount olympus) because he hates the other gods, Leona, the sun god pops down to dual him for a bit, then Aurelion Sol (basically the god of anything between this particular solar system to the entire universe, not particularly descriptive, but he's a big space dragon) knocks pantheon off the mountain, causing our boi to lean into his god powers to yeet back up to finish his beef with the gods. Sand place (Shurima) has Taliyah, The earthbender, helping Kai'sa (sexy mutant suit lady) fight the children of Rek'sai (the big monster from the hole) to lure rek'sai out so that Kai'sa can hop into the void to do things and such, meanwhile Taliyah stays behind to seal the hole once kai'sa is in. this is likely the thing leading into future story development, so we don't know a lot of the "whys" yet.
@@keithdenzelroque2072 confirmed by who? Also I did recall that “pantheon” pantheon had died, but I didn’t know enough about that side of the story to assert anything with confidence.
@@DrYesterday Basically, Aatrox killed the god of war when he and Pantheon fought, but the body that the god was using as a vessel survived. Atreus (Pantheon's name before he was possessed) was not a willing host, and now that he's free, he is using what remains of the god's powers to try to kill the other gods. He loves his fellow humans, though, which is why he doesn't use his weapon against the portal guards in the cinematic and, instead, uses non-lethal means to incapacitate them. It's only when Leona, the host of the Golden Sister (embodiment of the sun), shows up that he picks up his weapon, ready to fight for real.

5:20 "That like Zeus?" Pretty close guess. It's complicated but, basically, he used to be this world's God of War. Some of the gods exist in the world by using human bodies as vessels. This particular man, Atreus (called Pantheon in-game) had his body taken over against his will. The god that inhabited his body was killed by Aatrox (that's a long story), leaving Atreus with a big chunk of the War God's powers. When he was freed, he started hunting down the other gods in an attempt to free mankind from their influence. He hasn't managed to kill any yet, but he's trying. TL;DR He's a human with the powers of a god, and he's trying to kill the gods.
@@bloodwire7152 Yeah, I simplified the story a little. Atreus was a willing host at first, until he saw the way the gods used the humans that worshipped them. When he wanted his body back, his god wouldn't give it to him. And you're right, the other gods don't tend to take complete control of their hosts, but they still take the less direct method of altering their thoughts to make them even more devoted than they were before. The Golden Sister and Silver Sister, aspects of the sun and moon, are the most well-known example of that.
If you had read the new side story (before the main cinematic trailer "The Call") you would have known that aspects are not gods. They are celestial beings.
The game is a MOBA that plays from above, and looks nothing like that. If you are into MOBA and is competitive and gives a fuck about toxicity give it a shot, but don't expect it to look like the trailer. They also have bunch of other games related to league too that you could try out if you aren't into MOBA and they feature the same champs and lore for the most part.
The video is just a backstory/ lore cinematic for the champions in the MOBA game League of Legends, So expect the game will look different. If you don't know MOBA games are like RTS, If you're not into MOBA games RIOT is currently making the League of Legends MMORPG but it will take a while for the game to release, There's also a League Fighting Game in development too that you could look forward too. If you're into card games League of Legends has a card game available now that you can play called (Legends of Runeterra) based on its lore and universe, League also has a Turn based RPG game called (Ruined King: A League of Legends Story) that is also available to play now, And many more upcoming games based on the League of Legends Universe.
It's a MOBA and does not look like that btw, it's tricky if you're new and choose to play LOL because of their cinematics since they are so well done. However it's a good game and the graphics are not bad if you have a good not great computer, also competitive till the point of toxicity, not every player but some.
everyone's gonna say "oh god, do not play league" but tbh I'd love to see this guy's reaction to gameplay right after this lmao
Hahahahah

Most don't control the Aspects' bodies, it's just a thing that the Warrior does. See Leona, Diana and Zoey, they're Aspects, but not possesed ones

The right one is soooo annoying
Pausing the middle of videos is already kinda "eh" but in the middle of an action scene.. Twice.. Nah man.
It would be awesome if the guy on the right can speak in a HUMAN language...Half his words are NOT in any language that exists...
In our language it fucking does 😂
do yourself a favor, please! Enjoy the cinematics...don't play the game. You'll be very disappointed.
