Uni to uni is a great knot! FG knot is just a little smoother and smaller diameter though. It's less noticeable in line guides and less likely to stick in the ice. Knots are fun!
Im going to have to add that one to my repertoire. Much smaller than a double uni. dont get me wrong double uni is great but when your leaders are long that big knot with large tags can be a pain ESPECIALLY trying to cast or when the knot gets stuck on an eyelet with a fish peeling drag.
This is the kind of video you pull up when you are on the ice or sitting in the boat.

Pretty good knot , but to add two lines together I always use the double uni knot very strong and never had the knot slip or break . Good tip vid 😊🤙

Great knot, I prefer the double uni for braid to fluro myself but I do fg sometimes but only 10 wraps not 20.
Yeah I really like the knot, have never tried it with 10 wraps though.
