One of the best-sounding reverbs I've ever heard. And great demo!
Beautiful sounding reverbs.
Thank you for doing such an amazing video of this. The amount of sounds in this is incredible, its almost a shame that it only has 2 presets !
that was a fantastic, a fantastic demo and tutorial. Thanks so much.
Beautiful playing. Love the Skylar!
Nice demo as always! Glad you do these in stereo as the algos from this and the specular are just so good in stereo. My favorite besides the spatium is how well the shimmer works and the 5th up shimmer sounds very excellent.
Thank you!
I got so used to using reverbs in stereo I can’t go back to mono.
You deserve a sub for this stereo demo.
This sounds so good
Awesome. One of the best reviewers!
mesmerizing sound..
Excellent ! Thanks. !!
Bought it for the plate. So good
The shimmer is great. Also it’s one of the best that I’ve heard.
I found a used one for 185 I thinks it’s worth getting it Smooth ambient sounds
I LKE ....SKYLAR VALENTINE !
Amazing - I wish there were 4 presets though.
Nice sound! Thanks for the demo. My first attempt to get $100 up reverb- is this better than Eventide blackhole? Close price range. I just realised it gets harder to pick which the higher you go in price 😝
Thanks!
Hard to choose indeed. In my opinion Blackhole is great for bigger and wider sounds but I wouldn’t use it for subtle, room type short reverbs. Skylar is very versatile but it obviously doesn’t have the signature Blackhole sound. You’ll need to check out multiple demo videos to make the decision yourself.
Great Review. I don't usually use reverb. But I'm planning to buy a good reverb. There are lots and lots of good reverbs.
Walrus Slo
Neunaber Immerse
Walrus Audio Mako Series
EQD Avalanche
Digitech Polara
TCE Hall of Fame II
I can't choose between these pedals. Which one will you recommend? planning to just use it for John Mayer song and planning to compose a LoFi and Ambient songs.
Thanks!
I haven’t tried most of those so can’t say much. For Lo Fi and Ambient music, look for pedals with unique modes that you think you can use in your music.
How does this compare to a Strymon big sky?
only 200 not bad at all with digital display
did you facing "BOOM" sound when you switch KillDry ON/OFF?
mine is having that issue 🤦
There’s a noticeable click, but not a boom sound, but that goes for every reverb pedal. I have a universal audio golden reverb that does it as well.
im confused on choosing this or the Hall of Fame 2 by TC Electronics
Huh? Easiest choice ever can you not hear this reverb lol.
When will they make a reverb pedal that holds 100 presets? We want the ability to save more presets, not less.
No need to engineer an enormous preset system for the pedal when 99% of their customers dont need that. If you really need 100 presets, check out the Specular Tempus from the same company - Only has 32 presets, but it also has midi - This pedel is basically the reverb half of that pedal split off into its own little thing
Deal breaker
You have to share us how you play
That would require a different camera setup but I’m thinking about it.
@@DoNoise what I mean your playing is insanely sweet! I really want to copy it
@@Junylung1223aa thanks so much!
You really do have great playing! A dual cam setup showing the pedal and the guitar would be awesome.
@@jacobmastenbrook4157 thank you! I’ll definitely be thinking about it.
