This was so informative, personally I’ve always been scared of primary care for the same reason you said Nanelle. I don’t wanna be one of those nurses who lose my skills or “don’t know anything” but this was so enlightening. I love the opportunities for career progression.

Primary Care is the best!!. We have the opportunity to care for our patients from the start of illness and can possibly prevent conditions that will lead to hospitalization.

I intend going to study public health (BSC)at the National Open University of Nigeria, but I was told that Public health can't be practiced in a clinical setting, how true is this? Is Public Health different from Public health nursing?
After 4 years degree or 4 years diploma plus+- 5 years nursing experience then you add 1year specialised primary health care nursing practitioner course
Nursing in the UK provides great opportunities which in turn shows your actual capabilities as a nurse. I'm glad people realize this when they watch you, Nanelle😍.
You know Nanelle, in my country nurses' who are placed in primary care do all those duties that an Advanced nurse do while they are general nurses.
