Exactly natural I can't stand fake plants in terrariums, and a man who owned a reptile shop in Texas once told me, "grow plants before owning an exotic reptile"
Herp Havoc! You are INCREDIBLY talented! Richard, I love all of your critters, but this enclosure is the cutest, most beautiful, that you have and the critters are the sweetest! I agree with you about just sitting and watching it...a cup of coffee, a pillow to lean on and just veg out watching and listening :) Thank you for sharing this with us! Have a great week coming up and be blessed :)
Your vids, your everything is just amazing, lol...honestly, would love to visit and bring my son who loves everything we do!! Anyhow, awesome Richard, thx for sharing!!
I have african dwarf frogs 🐸 too. I have mine tong feeding now because the tank mates gobble up all the food, so I have to make sure the frogs get some good feedings ❤ great video, the Paludarium looks great 😊
That's pretty awesome, Richard! And looks so very real. I didn't realize that the Red Eyed Tree frogs were that tiny! One always sees closeup photos, so actual size can be deceptive. Very cool!
havent seen anyone mention this but the uvb on the left wont do anything because uvb does not go through glass/acrylics. hope you see this comment so you dont waste a good uvb bulb!
Awesome. I hope you keep the updates coming. Just gorgeous to look at. *Might want to rethink the pleco for the space you have. Not sure how many gallons you've got in that space, but you might be have some luck with some otocinclus in that space?
Please, I really need to know I want to buy two p metallica tarantulas aka Gooty saffron ornamental tarantula if I have two females in the same enclosure as communal set up will they eat each other? Please I need to know I can’t find any videos about it. Please give me an answer.
Slightly off the topic, but I currently own a couple of jumping spiders and really want to make the step up to my first Tarantula. I have a store near by that has a some Typhochlaena seladonia spiderlings that will be coming for sale soon, so I just wanted your opinion. Do you think it would make for a good first Tarantula? I know they can be on the more costly side, which doesn't bother me, because let's be honest, they are beautiful
Ok so the African dwarf frogs you put in, they can make the water bad for other frogs and if other frogs go in it they can get chythrid fungus because dwarf frogs are carries of chythridimacosis so make sure that where you got them frog the person did the ridding prodded of it, it’s very important and the fungus can be very harmful for the red eyes
I have a question for you not that I'm trying or would ever risk my girl Octavia she is a therafosa stirmi she is my baby but can't tarantulas be cross bred like a pink toed goliath with my stermi again it's nothing I'd try I wouldn't risk my stirmi and wouldn't screw up her bloodline I'm just wonderin is something like that could even be accomplished

Honestly, I'd rather have that in my living room than a big-screen TV.
I love watching your transition from the basement set up to an entire studio with a paludarium in the lobby! Inspiring!

What animals were you originally planning on putting in it
What’s the maintenance like with the water as well?
Hi Richard
I would like to set this up with white sand and mangrove for arboreal crabs, from Florida.
African Dwarf frogs don't do well with fish present, they just can't compete with them
