Really appreciate that you've left the time frame open-ended Sarai... with a challenge like this I'd be tempted to want to get rid of store bought clothes and sew up a storm. It's a nice reminder that it's important to keep wearing those things and only slowly replace with hand made as needed :)
Thanks very much! I’m looking forward to joining in. My first step in creating a home-made wardrobe was to have a colour analysis done so I would be sure that the fabric I chose would more flattering for me and the colours would work well together. I understand that this is pricey but I didn’t want to waste money or time creating clothes I might not be happy with and not wearing.
Yes, I like this! I do purchase new, but rarely. Typically, I thrift and alter the garment in at least one way so it’s still custom. I think that counts too! 😊

Fit can definitely be a factor. There are so many great resources around fitting, and you don't have to know everything all at once. Taking a learn-as-you-go approach and letting go of perfection as you're building your skills can really go a long way.

I’m a newbie to sewing. I like this idea. I want to do this as well. Make a wardrobe for myself
Ok, starting today, I'll only make my own clothes. I don't have a machine, but I'll really do it anyway . I'll be watching ❤
I don't have a machine but I do make some of my clothes. It gives you inner peace ❤
