Really smart dog. We Indians should realise how smart and hardy our local dogs are. We just blindly go for foreign breeds, not only that means Indian pups are left homeless but it also instigates some very bad breeding practices carried out by professional dog breeders.
I made a big mistake adopting Rottweiler 10 years ago he passed away 5 months back . But this time around i made up my mind that i will only adopt my own Indian street pup . I plead every one here to kindly adopt street pups because our dogs are more healthier then foreign breeds .
+Bharati Ninu I just adopted a 3 week old abandoned pup, and good thinking man, I won't adopt pedigree breeds and pay so much when we have so many dogs suffering in the streets.
After seeing this I understood that there's no difference between a labrador retriever and a street dog 💕💕 Even many labrador cannot do this so cleanly.
I love this little dog and his fantastic trainer. I've adopted a Desi and seeing this video gives me much needed inspiration to train my little fellow as well!
You did an amazing job of it!! A post on The Frustrated Indian page brought me here. And I hope more people see how good Indian breeds are and can be, when properly trained.
Pretty, graceful dog and well-trained. He's very intelligent indeed. My Desi dog which I brought to Vancouver here, Scooby, has one ear up and one down as well.
It is a pity that there is a misconception that these dogs are hard to train. I have managed to train a dog that lives outside my office, just by teaching her for about 2 minutes each day. She can do so much, it's amazing. Congratulations and well done!
You worked really hard with him. I can appreciate that because my dog picked up certain things really fast and took more than a year to learn the rest. But I know he would have learnt faster if I'd been more consistent with practise. Well done. Tintin's a lucky pup.
These are such amazing dogs, and a true heritage of the Indian subcontinent. I remember wondering why they all looked the street dogs looked the same when I was little, I ended up learning they have a huge genetic genepool and have evolved into their environment both physically and socially. Such great dogs ! Good for you, hope the pup is doing well. PS : love the name Tintin.
Really the street dog is better than a breed dog we are wasting too much money for the breed dogs but the street dog is the best i also have a street dov it is playing with me and it protect me
I have a 3 month old male stray dog outside my quarter in my colony. I have named it Paddy. He knows me and likes me. But i didn't knew how to train it. This vid has given me the required info. Thanks!
Well done sir. Heartwarming to see some people care for street dogs. There are so many in India. I ve been there few years ago. Amazing country I def go back one day but it always breaks my heart when I see all the street dogs and poor cats looking for food and some love also. I try to feed them too and give them some attention, even some people say it's dangerous bc they are filthy. I feel sorry for them all, they deserve someone like you. Thank you, Gob bless you, greetings from Holland. Namaste!
Indian Pariah is very very smart in understanding. When it (my dog Mr. Koti) plays with the children they behave super mature even though they torture him but if elders do the same it won't compromise. BTW he is justl 9 months old.
The breed is Indian Pariah, one of the cutest, intelligent dogs we as Indians have forgotten. It is urgent need we start homing them and give the love they deserve, bringing them out of the “stray dog” surface.
Good job on training the puppy. Do you still have him? Make sure he has healthy food, not just carbs such as rice only. And vaccinate him for rabies. He should live a good life like any other breed with lots of love, good food and exercise.
Thanks❤❤❤😊❤🌹🌹🌹 fyiu for making this vedio cause this 🙏😭😩helps the people who think only breed can understand😉 training can obey command but street dog 🐶🐕 also are clever I have also he is name is sheru 🦁🦁
We adopted a street puppy and he is amazing :). Very clever, alert, friendly and protective :)

It better not be myne

Many people underestimate local stray dogs but they are very clever and trainable
