Congrats on the orange rune! So lucky! As for the gem counter, I'm not very excited. Never needed a normal gem counter for the weekly lair gems because you can just go until it greys out. What we NEED is a normal gem counter for our 12 daily party gems. I hate having to go back through my party logs at the end of the day to count my gems.
@andante89 yes, they have occasional collect 8-12 normal gem quests in the codex, so absolutely zero reason why we cannot have that as a daily tracker in there with everything else.
For gems, abyssal is now more convenient as a farm. You just have to keep in mind the 10/10 limit both on monstrous essence (bestiary) and the abyssal essence to craft a rune (yeah you can get very lucky and make a legendary). As for gem quantity, it seems getting 1000 points = 4 gems, 1500 = 6 and 2000 = 8.
@JohnSmith-wx6rw not surprising since these are the new, rarest items in the game with decent impact. And since they seem to have that initial price change flexibility that will be more of a platinum mover to profit from whales early on. However, as so rare these are to get, and beneficial to your character, going to keep whatever I get personally myself.
Before the update, I did verge for about 4 hrs. Got 2 yellows, a few blues and several greys. Sold the yellows. I forget how many bcz blues and greys dont sell. I hope the new drop rate is better. But they dont publish drop rates. We dont know what the rate was before, nor do we know what it is now. Could have been 0.00001% before and 0.0001% now. Still increased drop rates, but you'll still never get one. Since it's Blizz, NOTHING WOULD SUPRISE ME.
@@xrisku yep and accursed towers still seem to be the best. You know it, I know it, everyone knows it 🤣 about that exact thing on increasing drop rates with no idea of the numeric value set.
I did three abyssal turn ins and got all greys. I pretty much just run it to cap the normal gems. I think you just finally got lucky after a bad luck streak.
The 2 boss runs are common, did hours of this content, best way is to get 10000 so you get the essence, dont kill boss just farm 10k fast, about 1,5-1,7 minutes is doable as wizzard, go out and repeat, as i said, did over 10 hours of it, not good runes dropped, did about 15 hours of tower, got Lev rune and about 12 grey/blue runes an hour :) so up to you, but imo tower is still better.. And btw.. The lev rune was bound cause i ve farmed too much, all the runes are bound now :D
Sry just came to the end of video, yeah 0 runes dropped, only crafting... And btw.. Why would you equip the one man :DD its almost 200k plat on my server :D i was crying when i saw mine was bound :D
@rohleek5939 so this craft in video was the rare unicorn rng drop, and was an immediate upgrade for me. With my rng luck it will be forever seeing that again, so keeping legendary runes when I get at least one to use in every slot. I was still using a gray before getting that one. Also yes towers still actually drop runes better than anywhere. Still laugh at dev notes saying they will monitor and adjust drop rates in these 2 zones that remain terrible 🤣.
@@skyreign well i get it but selling now buying later would make you a lot of plat :D dunno the prizes on your server + tax ofc :D but gz anyway! From grey to legendary is big :D yeah the drop rates are insane, and nobody liked this "event" so blizz gave us the best method for gems from there so people run it, but well..its still not fun to do :DD thanks blizz
@@rohleek5939 biggest upside really is less running and trying to hunt for hidden lairs to get gems. Now even more activities in Westmarch where you don't have to leave it lol.
@Raiden8423 yes, was able to run a few with clan and is way easier. The quick matching option however seems to be horrible time waiting, so best to go with clan.
As a F2P I thought you'd prioritize platinum, that's a chunky amount you just bound.. especially considering the state of the market, and that these runes won't sell for as much for long. Even as a low spender, I would have sold that in a heartbeat.
@Phyto. At this point, most things I would need for resonance push would be gem power. Normal gems/secondaries of course too. This craft was a 1 in a million rng for me and immediate upgrade from the gray I was still using at this point.

I had a LAZ drop in Elder rift today, i just put it on the market for max lol. It was the only LAZ on market, I can wait on better ones.
500 = 2 gems
1000 = 4 gems

Did you play that 4v4 pvp event game mode like 20 minutes ago?
Alley of Blood? yes, and got all event tokens done on it quick.
I did 20 verge runs, got 2 grey runes and lost interest immediately
@3dge433 was the rare instance for me in this one. Next 10 run got a gray next time also lol.
Run on Monday for the gems don’t go back until the next week.
Run Verg with 4 split in 2 teams of 2 meet at the boss focus on elites maximizing points 45 minutes all gems collected.

I saw vid with duo scoring 2000 , they got 8 norma gems

Nope, rune drop still sucks for the amount of time to get 10 by yourself. Maybe worth it with a group.
The trend is bottom of the barrel. Thats all I've gotten, congrats though!
