Nice video. My problem is this: the rectifier gets too hot and it fries. I replaced but the new one have the same issue. I've checked the ac from stator and I get 52v from all 3 yellow wires. Is it normal? This is a scooter SYM VS125. Any suggestions?
I think 52 volt is little bit high but still in normal,, one reason why rectifier is fried is ,,somtimes there is problem with coil try to check and clean, check your connection, any grounded , check his fan or impeller for cooling and the rectifier position
Great video and very helpful for me as you can understand from the following. I was given an alternator that came from some Hyundai car, allegedly it is not charging. It has the same bridge rectifier and voltage regulator as in the video. From what car is the alternator in the video?
