- The Household Cavalry has held an open day at their central London headquarters today, as they prepare for key roles in two major events this summer. The mounted regiment will play a significant part in ceremonials surrounding the Olympics. They will also be involved in celebrations in June to mark the 60th anniversary of Queen Elizabeth's reign.
