If I recall correctly, they’re arranged from “regular” to “pastel” to “neutrals” The Inkonic Fineliners are a DIFFERENT VERSION of these pens. The fineliners shown here do melt with water. However, they don’t erase that much, and they work amazing with dry mediums, and with alcohol markers. I’ve been using these since 2017. If your paper is thin then they DO bleed through. Edit: also, Arteza uses weird numbers for their sets 😂😂 hence “102”
It's 102 because each layer has 34 pens and how would you get 0.33333..........in each layer? 100 divided by 3 = 33.3333333...... 102 divided by 3 = 34
abigail van der Pluijm Like scribble them on clean plastic and wet them right away? I do something similar with gel pens and an alcohol blending marker ( the results are similar to water color but more even ).
@Indigo Rodent yaknow, I've always thought the same of watercolor pencils..🤷 I don't think I'll ever understand the point of them. I guess it's all in how you wanna use whatever medium.🤷 Cuz to water down a fine liner, to turn it into a fluid, rather than a pen sounds redundant to me too🤷
My trick to telling fineliners apart has been to scribble on a little piece of paper and taping it to the pen, since the colours on the caps can be misleading sometimes!
I binged your videos all day and now that is the perfect finale 😅 I just can't get enough of your amazing art and of course your awesome character ❤ Ever since you opened up about being a highly sensitive person a few months ago I feel a little bit connected to you since I am also an HSP 😊
I think your first sloppy crosshatch looks really cool. The way the shapes are interacting and overlapping and creating darker values in some areas is like some kind of crystal growth formations!
Your Redbubble store is gorgeous. Congratulation! It is really lovely and you can see that you took your time and gave each product justice and didn't just slap the pixels on. Each product is unique and beautiful. I'm in awe.
You have a great fine liner technique! Looks so good. I got the set of 72 I think... a long time ago. Color code is definitely needed. I found that the caps do not always match the ink color.
You: “That’s a little odd to me. Why 102? Why not just 100?” Me: Oh, I like you. Also, I enjoyed the outcome. I used to sketch with colored ballpoints like this all the time and I miss it. Inspires me to pick up a pack of colored pens and start again.
Nice! It looks so clean and crisp, and I love the way you drew the hair particularly. And thank you for sharing the techniques at the beginning, I really want to try it now.
You're my favorite! I watch all your scrawlr box videos while mine sit on the shelf cuz I have no clue what to do with them 😅🤣 I love Sally too!! I know this is a random video to put this on but I seriously just love your channel!!!
This is the cutest! I particularly enjoy the way you shaded the hair. I would definitely love to see more art like this (if you want to make it, only).
I'm so excited that you opened your shop! I've been hoping that you would open it really soon. I've really loved your art and have wanted to purchase some prints for a while. I just bought several prints for myself and several for my friend who is a HUGE cat lover too. She's gonna be excited :)
I laughed when I saw the notification for this video, since I had just literally unwrapped a set of 72 of these for my birthday today :) I can’t wait to use these, especially after watching your video! Lovely art as always!
And it is the most time consuming 🤣 I did a self portrait on a 8x12 using only stippling.. took me an entire week. Bout 40 hours😩. But the effect is amazing and I'd hafta say, even if it is of me at 15 in my cat eared hoodie, it's my favorite drawing. I also did one of twiggy on a 24x24.. a month. Beautiful though.
Oh, the stippling! 🙈 I remember that assignment in art class; I'm way too impatient to poke a piece of paper with a fineliner for hours... 🙈😅 Zero fun for me. Your art turned out so pretty! 💚💜😀
@@averiegurrola7137 I get it! Guess it's just not for me. 😊 I don't draw to relax (I also don't get anything out of those coloring books for adults). But I love that we all have different motivations to pick up a pen or pencil or brush. 😊💙🌼
Love your videos have been watching for a little while now! I also love cats and just wanted to say that Sally is so cute! Your art is very inspiring to me.... You are an amazing artist and i hope i can be as good as you someday! i would love to see you draw more character designs based off of your phone suggestions :)
I am personally a crazy person and have always used fineliner to fill big sections,I will say I have recently smartened up and started using multiple mediums even tho I am in love with fineliner.
I have the 70 count and have absolutely no idea what do with them except gesture drawing and I feel that’s a waste so I’m glad I clicked on this video!! I’m gonna try this out too. ❤️
I love this drawing and the colors are beautiful. I like to draw in Procreate and then trace on my page but the screen doesn’t lock so sometimes it makes it tricky. Maybe I’m just missing something.
Love you! 😍😃 I started to order soo many of Arteza stuff recently, but from Amazon, does that code work for you there(it's just because I have Prime over there lol).
I may be wrong but I don’t think I’ve seen you draw a guy before? But maybe you could do that, like you could personify something, like seasons or flowers or anything idk?! Omg just realised this is the 102 nd comment 😂 “ why one hundred and two!!!!!????” What a coincidence
The texture of her hair is to die for, and her face is looks so serene. This is really beautiful
I agree

Oh and as other option is take water and paintbrush as they are waterbased ink.

@@BiteSizedCrafter yes! On paper you d need to usewater olorlaper but withthe plastic truck you can useany sort of paper.
Indigo Rodent you can color on the paper first, too. And this isn’t, like, the only option for fineliners.
@Indigo Rodent yaknow, I've always thought the same of watercolor pencils..🤷 I don't think I'll ever understand the point of them. I guess it's all in how you wanna use whatever medium.🤷 Cuz to water down a fine liner, to turn it into a fluid, rather than a pen sounds redundant to me too🤷
I love organizing my art supplies too. Literally just did a bunch of organization with my paints. They needed love.
My trick to telling fineliners apart has been to scribble on a little piece of paper and taping it to the pen, since the colours on the caps can be misleading sometimes!
The art looks great! And Ive tried doing that before with the same fine liners it took me 2 days ! 😂
Can I see OWO
The very first thought I had as well was “...? Why 102?!”
Because the fineliners come in 3 trays, and you can't divide 100 in 3. But 102 : 3 = 34 is perfect.
Eva Riveros Faur enough. Otherwise they would have had them decide by 5 trays and that would’ve too bulky.
Oh animal crossing pic

Mareike Schäufele Same here 🙋♀️😁
Yaaaas, I'm joining in! She is fresh and addictive air! 😍😍😍😍
Love it! You should definitely do more art with fine liners. It’s not only fun for you to make but also for us to watch ^^ keep up the good work!

Yeah. I love stress pens.. But I draw using them awhile. But I now stopped as I run out. When I buy again. I will use again. Brilliant colours😍😍😍😍😍😍

Wow this turned out so beautiful! I love the colors and think you did such a nice job making the lines look really controlled and not sloppy!
This is the cutest! I particularly enjoy the way you shaded the hair. I would definitely love to see more art like this (if you want to make it, only).
This was very helpful to watch, you are an excellent instructor. I will definitely watch more of you video's and will subscribe.
Oh my goodness, the hair, the colours, it's all so awesome

Aw thank you! 😻
Did I miss it? I was listening to hear how long, in time, it took you to complete. Thank you for sharing the techniques.
Absolutely beautiful!! You are so talented! I love to watch you draw.
The elf girl is soooooo cute QAQ I love the color scheme! 😍 YAS for more fineliner art! 👏 Thanks for showing us the process of this adorable piece! 😭🌟
You said exactly what I wanted to say

Thank you so much! 😻
@@Kattvalk for sure! anyone as crazy in love with cats is good in my books 😍 I'm in love with your art style and have been waiting for merch forever
So adorable, your art is amazing! You could do watercolors tecniques with cheap water based markers
She's so cute! Now I want to use my fineliners again too
I like this idea so much. I will definitely have to try it with my own fineliners. Great job!
I laughed when I saw the notification for this video, since I had just literally unwrapped a set of 72 of these for my birthday today :) I can’t wait to use these, especially after watching your video! Lovely art as always!
You are such a great artist!!!
Oh my gosh this is so adorable!
This video is so useful! I didn't know you can use fineliners this way! Wow! :D
I'm so excited that you finally have a shop, i'll be ordering something for sure I love your art!
stippeling is also An option for drawing and coloring with fineliners.
She mentioned that actually
And it is the most time consuming 🤣
I did a self portrait on a 8x12 using only stippling.. took me an entire week. Bout 40 hours😩. But the effect is amazing and I'd hafta say, even if it is of me at 15 in my cat eared hoodie, it's my favorite drawing. I also did one of twiggy on a 24x24.. a month. Beautiful though.
I love how stippling looks but man does it take time.
5:53 :)
I have a big box if various fineliners and this video made me excited to use them in something!
This is gorgeous!! I love the way you draw people (and elves)
Okay, wow! This turned out so so amazing~ Love the color combination.
This ones really cute! i love the colors!
I absolutely adore the art you made in this episode!
Oh, the stippling! 🙈 I remember that assignment in art class; I'm way too impatient to poke a piece of paper with a fineliner for hours... 🙈😅 Zero fun for me.
Your art turned out so pretty! 💚💜😀
Lol I get that but me personally I enjoy stippling, it's very relaxing. But takes FOREVER.
@@averiegurrola7137 I get it! Guess it's just not for me. 😊 I don't draw to relax (I also don't get anything out of those coloring books for adults). But I love that we all have different motivations to pick up a pen or pencil or brush. 😊💙🌼
Beautiful coloring. I love the drawing you chose to share. The blending is so cool with those pens. Can't to see if you use the inkonic liners
Yess!! I'm so excited to order prints 😆 also this art turned out so pretty
Omg, the witchy cat trow blanket ❤️😍😍😍❤️
Your art is so unique and y have got real art and I think y should make vid playing around with the finliners thank y so much
You have inspired me to use my fineliners. Thankyou for sharing 💖

She's beautiful! I also checked oyf your Red Bubble - fantastic! I want 1of everything❣
Very pretty! I should try a pen or gelpen challenge someday. XD
I want to get the cat statue piece on a bathmat, it looks so cute!

Your illustration is very beautiful.
Loooooooove this artwork!!! 💕💕💕💕
Nice art.💖 Which drawing tool do use on Tab? And also Which Tab do you use?
I have the 70 count and have absolutely no idea what do with them except gesture drawing and I feel that’s a waste so I’m glad I clicked on this video!! I’m gonna try this out too. ❤️
I love cats too. This was so informative
Love this art and channel!!

Wow beautiful art 😍
that is a lot of great line work :)
Love you! 😍😃
I started to order soo many of Arteza stuff recently, but from Amazon, does that code work for you there(it's just because I have Prime over there lol).
lol the light blue hatching in the beginning for some reason reminds me of an old ladies head of curlers
loved this!!
I have the same fine liners from Arteza, Arteza is my favorite art brand and I also included some of their products on my art channel!!!!!
Beautiful ^^
You should make a coloring book
Absolutely love the video!! hat sort of tablet did you use for the digital sketch?
This was uploaded on my birthday.
I like this kind of challenge
I always wanted a colouring book by kattvalk 😔
If you use an eraser on the fine liner does it smudge?
Damn im early, from the thumbnail it looks so cute!
So sweet
i think i would buy this,im more of a simple coloring person so these will fit for me uwu ♥
Blev jätte fint! Du är så jäkla duktig :D
hey marie, love your shop. would be so nice, if you consider making bigger sizes in shirts. thank you :o)💫💙
You have to contact Redbubble about that 😸
I would love the 80 marker piece as a print
I'm too ocd to arrange my colors by eye since even when the barrels match the color I don't trust my own judgement with hues
Love your elf girl drawing
What kind of acient do you have?
Oh almost forgot thanks for sharing how to use them
yay i was the seventh like! :D i love your art!
just got to tune in! got distracted by animal crossing. can’t wait to see what you make 💕
Can you do part 2 :)
What tablet do you use?
OMG I have those liners.
102 because if 1 dried out it's still more than 100
Love your art and maybe I will get that shower curtain...
more fine liner art please...my favorite...subject could be a cat!!!
It's so weird, I'm usually messy and disorganized, but I LOVE organizing all my art supplies in Chromatic order. ❤️
Omg same
I suddenly got the urge to get that shower curtain
there's 102 because you can't divide 100 by 3. and to save costs, the packaging is 3 times the same, holding 34 pens per tray.
I wonder why you would find it tiring to swatch 100+ pencils lol
Also you're really not the only one who can't stand a messy pen storage
Cute..
omg never been this early before
The asmr on crosshatching
♡♡♡
I may be wrong but I don’t think I’ve seen you draw a guy before? But maybe you could do that, like you could personify something, like seasons or flowers or anything idk?!
Omg just realised this is the 102 nd comment 😂 “ why one hundred and two!!!!!????” What a coincidence
that is so great they messed up the tin with 102 instead of 120 hah
