Toyota Dump Editor - Synchronization of ID Code Box, Smartkey ECU, Steering Lock ECU & Engine ECU for 40 & 80bit Toyota/Lexus smart system equipped vehicles.
The editor allows for individual synchronization of all four ECUs.
It is important to keep track of the file's data organization, how an EEPROM is read and written back.
For this application it matters if the file is read in 8 bit or 16 bit (commonly referred to as x8 & x16).
In this video example we assume the car has a working key, but ID code box is not synchronized with the vehicle.
A more common case is when a vehicle has no keys.
In such a situation the approach is first to add a new key in the Smartkey ECU, through the
Key Maker function of Tango (Menu: Toyota - Smart Systems - Certification ECU (93C66, 93C86), save the new file.
Then in Toyota Dump editor, load the newly saved Smartkey ECU file along with ID Code, synchronize them and save a new ID Code file.
Afer that Sync the new IDcode file with Steering Lock and Engine ECU.
