I've been watching your videos since the Fall and finally went ahead and bought your Easy Savings Challenge book and started really focusing on saving/budgeting... I started 2/6 and already finished the $20 block challenge and have filled 7/100 envelopes!!! I have save $551 so far!!! Following you has changed my life. Thank you, Celissa!
Great video! I do this now with just a check register. I always watch these types of videos looking for better ideas or great tips that may help me improve my budgeting. But, I must say, you killed it! You did such a great job explaining and demonstrating! Several people ask me for help with their budgeting and paying off debt. This will be the video that I suggest they watch. I appreciated you and your videos. Thank you.
You have a marvelous mojo for CB 101. Three videos so far. These are like a course and/or masterclass for free but should be for a fee. You are valuable. Blessings. 🕊
I wish I learned this when I was younger omg eating out and shopping 🛍️ main problem this year I will no longer be living paycheck to paycheck and not have any savings. Thank you so much for teaching me what I should’ve learned never stop teaching please 🙏🏾
I love this video, even tho i have been cash stuffing for almost a year now its nice to have the breakdown and see if there are any places i can improve my budgeting game😊💚
This is exactly what I need to start on my savings and budgeting journey, I’ve already started on my emergency fund and looking forward to seeing more of your videos, Thank you so much!!❤❤❤
We needed to get our spending under control, figure out where our money was going, and then focus on paying off debt. Hoping to have all CCs paid off either end of this year or next year. Your little 1st edition saving book is what I'm using for it. Perfect to saving chunks to pay them off.

I learned how to balance a checkbook and also make a budget and high School in democracy someowhat, but also taught myself the rest of the budget. I shared this video because I knew it could help others financially. There's so many that needs help financially nowadays, and who else better I know today would be you. Thank you for being you Celissa. Love you girl. See you in the next one. Take care and God bless.
Jaime!! The colored hearts made my day! 🥰🥰 Thank you for the kind words. I too learned about balancing a checkbook in school. These days it’s not being taught. 😔 Hopefully God will bless this video and it will fall into the hands of those that need it! 🥹 Thanks for watching! Luv you girl!
Celissa! This video was absolutely amazing! I have watched quite a few videos on how to create a budget, and this was by far the best explanation/tutorial I have gotten. Excellent class! I wish I had this when I was younger!
Love it 💜💜💜 Very detailed step by strep video... this will bless someone for sure 🙌🏾.. lol its the idk what this person is going through because they not a real person for me lol 😂😂😂.. We got our thorougust chic with us well done 💜💜💜
Thanks for all that you do to help us that are new to the cash budgeting system. I love your positivity. Just completed the $1 savings challenge from the Easy cash Save more money challenge book and ready to start the next challenge. 💚💚💚
I have started budgeting about a year or so ago. my reason was i needed to know where my money was going and what was coming in. I was tired of living paycheck to paycheck. I use the 50/30/20 method and im not sure but im doing the snowball method for debt payoff except for taxes and traffic fines. They are on top of my debt payoff list
Hello! Thank you for these videos! Another way to save some money is to "challenge" yourself to spend under the allotted amount in the variable cash envelopes! I have been able to save a little more by doing this!
Thanks, Celissa for the recap on how to start a budget ❤ I know I will always want to see a video like this, why because I know I do not know everything there is to know about budgeting.❤
I love these Budgeting videos and I have learned so much from you! Thank you! I have a couple of questions, but I don't feel real comfortable asking them here. May I send you an email with the questions, then if you think it is something other people would want to know, then maybe you could do a video on them without a person being associated with the questions?
Hey hope your doing well we are having some storms here in oklahoma I live in what's known as tornado alley but I'm not about to let that stop me from watching your video
Hi! Not sure if this is a weird thing but I’ve been attempting to budget for a while and cannot straighten out what’s necessary to fund first. Like mentally, I’m stuck on the whole “bills/debt must be paid” and cannot divert to “need money for food expenses, need gas money, etc”. Any tips for this? Instead of shoveling all my money towards paying the credit card then turning around and realizing I have no cash for these expenses. 😅 I consume financial/budgeting content on the regular but it still doesn’t click.
My opinion is bills, weekly expenses, then debt plus savings. You’re right, if you spend your grocery money on paying a credit card you’ll have to use it again to get food. Also, it sounds like you have a shortage overall. Reevaluate what is truly needed and if you can reduce your expenses. If not, maybe look into ways of increasing your income. ☺️
@@Beautifulmeandyou I'm saving to buy a car cause mine bit the dust. Then if I want take once in a blue moon I can just go and get it. And delete door dash for good
My light bill and water bill is different every month it changes so I plan 200 for lights during the winter and 75 for the water it's always a little less my light bill is usually around 90 dollars a month in the summer time my house is all electric so for light's I plan 200 a month in winter and 100 in summer for water 75 all this month the water was 100 and I don't know why
My bills have switched up on me several times. I feel like my electric bill is my biggest gamble at times. It’s been as high as $450 and as low as $27?! Go figure! 😂
I finally put our electric bill on budget billing. Two weeks later, my husband decided to retire! That’s when I found Celissa’s videos and started budgeting for the first time ever! Our winter electric bills can be ridiculous! Had I not started budgeting when I did or put our bill in budget billing, we’d be in a big mess!

Nice video. Debt avalanche is paying by interest rates (high to low) and debt snowball is paying based on balance (low to high).
I started this budgeting thing in january and I found out I spending 200 on door dash in 2 weeks
Oh my!! DoorDash has a lot of fees. I spend quite a bit on eating out too. I just drive to get it. 😂
Wow! My son was doing the same.

Did Mr. Calculator's "1" get flipped upside down or has it always been like that?
It popped off some time ago. When I put it back on it was upside down. I’m afraid to pop it off to fix it. 😂
So door dash is done maybe 1 door dash every 2 weeks but no more than that
Great plan for sure!
