Maybe you could do a video one of someone who is barely starting and clueless. Lol. But maybe track that persons from start to finish. And show how you can help them achieve budget goals.

I like Ryen’s highlighters! Those colors remind me of the Mildliners which I have, use and really like. I like that muted color look. Don’t be ashamed of your highlighters, Ryen!!!

I really enjoyed this video with Ryen! I hope y’all do more together. Also, since you have the TBM office now you should have some of your subscribers jump on camera with you and show how they use your planner too! I bet there are a lot of different way to use it! My husband gets paid biweekly and so do I but we are on opposite weeks so we budget every week. I have a hard time with my grocery money lasting 7 days there’s no way I could put all that cash in my wallet for the whole month I’d burn through it. Lol

You ladies are awesome!! Finding TBM a bit over a month ago has changed my life!! Paying down debt, and building savings...so much less anxiety!! Thanks for being you and sharing!! Glad to see how it looks for Ryen too!

Yes! This was actually really helpful seeing a Bi-weekly Paycheck method cause that’s the way my budgeting system is setting up to be! I actually took the initial and start budgeting this year after I came across your page and let me tell you, I’m off to a pretty good start! All these methods you are offering do actually work! And it actually dose help to see something in person and examples then just reading instructions! So thank you for this!

Hi Miko! Love your workbook and philosophy! One quick suggestion: since filling out the Paycheck Bill Tracker is dependent on the Calendar page, it would be great if the pages were side-by-side instead of on the opposite sides of the same piece of paper. That way your readers could copy from the Calendar to the Paycheck Bill Tracker without flipping the page back and forth. Just an idea for future editions of your fantastic product :)

    • @asdfjkl50499
      @asdfjkl50499 4 роки тому +1

That is a good idea but many of us who use her book have several paycheck bill tracker pages that we use, so we still end up doing some flipping.

Thank you for the clarification on the starting balance. I was one of the persons getting wrapped around the axle with what I did at the end of the month for the next month. If the starting balance is whatever you have in your checking account on the first day of the month, that makes things so much easier. Hi Ryen! Liked to see your budget too. And your smiling face 😄. Please show how Ryen closes out her January in the next video. I would be very interested in that too. Still need help with the “Where Did My 💰 Go?” worksheets.

I'd love to see that too. I use the Digit app in place of the cash envelopes. You can create different goals there and save for each one. Then when I need the money I pull from it. Like Miko I stuff each Digit goal when I get my paycheck so it's removed from my checking acct. Your money there is FDIC insured and you get 1% interest every couple of months. So your money is making money. If you'd like to try it here is my code. By signing up you can get $5. I've been using it for about 3 years now digit.co/r/hs5zKYIQ8h?wn

my dad use to get paid once a month and then as a teacher he got all his summer pay at once. they did the envelope system and she would divide the money by month and week. that way, she was always sure to have money each week for things like gas and groceries etc

This is really helpful. I am also only paid once a month and most You Tubers are paid multiple times per month and it is hard to follow and conceptualize how my situation can be applied to theirs. Thank you for showing different perspectives. Again, it was very helpful and I feel like I have some much needed tools to move forward.

Thabks for breaking that down. Bought the budget by pay check book but felt a little overwhelmed filling it out makes since now though. So will give it a try for everything friday when we get paid. I always used a calender for my bills that stayed on my frig, and had a small notebook to total everything but like combining eveything in 1 book jusy was not sure how to plug everything in correctly till now. Thanks :)

Just put $51 of my $79 Jan. Challenge money and $50 from my Feb. Challenge to pay off a credit card. 🏆👏🏻 ALSO, LOVED that halftime. It was something else, but I was a proud latina during those minutes. It was the one time throughout the lose of my father that weekend, that I was clapping, laughing, and enjoying my time. Shakira added things that means a lot to latinas and Lebanese community ! It was just awe 🥰 It was just unique just like every other halftime show along the years. It was uff just 🤯 🙈🙊 But thank you for this video ! I am tackling debt and saving my emergency fund all at once ! And Christmas 🤯 So hectic, but I am ready to have this 2020 different ! As of 2021 things MUST change.

It is great to see someone that uses the workbook as paychecks instead of more of a “monthly” budget. Me and my hubby have 6 to 7 checks a month, so there is a lot going on and the “monthly” budget wasn’t really relatable. Thanks for sharing Ryan!
Suggestion: we have lots of videos with your example. I suggest focusing just on the other persons budget. Love you channel!

This is so interesting to see. I’ve been so hung up on monthly budgets for so long (my late husband was paid monthly), and now I receive money all through the month, so I’ve been running a cash float in my txn account (I never use cash for anything) and letting that dwindle during the month, but it’s always repaid by month’s end (I see the whole year at a glance as well as a monthly breakdown). Your system is more fluid and requires less discipline. I might have to convert!

I use a cheap notebook from the dollar store and follow these steps writing out my categories every payday on Friday lol. I’m like Ryan, my paycheck fluctuates and I don’t write hard numbers until I see the money in my account, then I go from there.
I was trying to follow Dave Ramsey plan and I reached my $1,000 emergency Fund, but I’m going to continue building it because I’m just not comfortable with that amount at all lol. I’m continuing to save and when I reach my goal amount then I work to pay off my debt.

I love your videos! I have just started getting my March budget setup today. I had printed out January's and did nothing with it. Didn't even print out February's. The time to officially get started is now! :) This is the first time seeing Ryen in your videos and it was so nice to see the way that she goes about hers considering she does have some debt and gets paid 2x a month. I do have a question though about zero based budgeting that I haven't seen anyone address. How much do you make sure you keep in your checking account? You make sure to have all of your money go somewhere, to bills, or to envelopes, but you obviously have to have a balance in your checking acct at all times to make sure you don't get fees etc. Thanks! I look forward to your March video! :)

Yes I get paid once a month and I blow my money QUICK, which when I got paid twice a month I feel relieved that I’ll get money again lol. But I’m working on it. I’m thinking maybe splitting it and only stuff 2 weeks at a time and see how that goes. GREAT video.

You are both great together! Very interesting to see back to back the monthly vs twice a month. Currently I get paid every two weeks for the past 31years..lol. But in June I'm retiring and will, literally overnight, become a monthly with my pension and social security . That's gonna be really interesting to switch over...lol. Like you said, Miko, it'll be 30 days in between paying myself. But I'll be ok. Big thanks to you both. Thanks!😃

So fun! You guys are great together! awww, Ryen, don't feel self conscious about your highlighters, they work just fine 😂 They look like midliners, I use those too in my bullet journal. such a great video & got some great ideas from Ryen's take.

I'm so blessed to have found your channel. This is the first time I'm going on it. I used to work in child support and was over all the money. That part of me wants to ask you to please have the heads of your money facing the same way, lol

Yeah I still have a hard time closing out my month/budget. Most months my numbers don't come out right, so I just move on to the next month lol 🤦🏿‍♀️🙈

LaToya Hall yes I rewatch all her videos she has when u buy the book but I just can’t get it right idk if I’m counting stuff I’m not suppose to or what but I just end up skipping it lol

@@KarinaAlvarado011313 I think it's because in my budget column I use whole amounts rounded up instead of the actual amount of my bills and I guess the change does add up and it throws me completely off. The only thing is I can't stop myself from doing it because I like to over budget rather than under budget. **sigh** I just call it a "buffer" now. As long as my bank account shows more than what my ending balance is in my book...I'm good! 👌On to the new month lol 😂

I'd like to see an example of someone who budgets for the entire house income. My husband and I both get paid twice a month(not on the same day) but it all goes into the same act that the Bills and everything else gets paid out of.

Yes! This would be so helpful. I get paid once a month but my husband gets paid every two weeks.
