ULLAMH DHA. Valentina Bonizzi. 2011.

ULLAMH DHA was made in March this year, in response to the current considered closures of Primary Schools in Argyll and Bute. Made through the eyes of the people most affected, the artist presents this work as a reflection on the local cultural geography of the landscape, and as an invitation to consider the broader impact of policy, without intervention, on future culture and community.
Valentina's work will be presented by Stills Gallery, Edinburgh, in International Departure Gate 11, Fondazione Fotografia Modena, Italy, June 2011
