The Agent RiA:registeredinart is a platform exploring contexts for artists' moving image.
RiA is developed and programmed by artist Lyndsay Mann.
registeredinart is The Agent RiA channel hosting works. It provides a constant point of access to current and experimental works by visual artists exploring methods and approaches to screen-based practices. New work by different artists is regularly uploaded, adding to the hosted works.
The artist-run channel has become a resource with hosted works selected for shows in the UK (Tate Modern, London) and USA (DCCP, Detroit).
RiA off-site projects include recent screenings at the Filmhouse, Edinburgh as part of the 2012 Middle Eastern Film Festival. and a curated programme at the Edinburgh Art Festival 2011.

Oh my god. This is exactly what we should be studying. If the brain is 90% unconscious, and these thoughts are bubbling up from there, we can start to find out how the brain works. Why isn’t everyone working on this instead of messing around with mice and rats?

I'm a reader of his work. This video does come across as a funereal rite, as I am sure is intended. I intend to take a good long walk around Hackney Wick, the Lea Valley and so on, observing what is going on, what will be absolutely changed within a year, for better or worse. Sinclair suggests worst - I can't help agreeing with him despite never having lived there.
Iv always loved allotments .. and now i know why! Thank you for uplding. I like the rawness of the footage to. Think it lends itself perfectly to the subject. Very lovely.
