Thanks for the informative video. I'm not a pilot but watch a lot of aviation stuff on UA-cam. I always wondered why some pilots call out pulling the gear up out of runway while others simply pull the gear up sooner.
FlyWire- scott perdue not much and useless. According to my filipino friends from the US said that too. It’s a big difference. We are 3rd world. Anyway, I’m still finishing watching all your videos for motivation. I shared your videos on facebook.
Loving your video's, with the knowledge you seem to have I'm just curious what your background is in aviation? Keep'em coming. thanks for sharing (Nevermind, I just saw your Bio.)
The POH says nothing about it, in some airplanes like the T-6 the POH recommends it. But not in a Bonanza. Just one extra thing to distract you from flying the airplane. The tires do not hit anything in the wheel well.
Grant- Good question. The short answer is I use the book setting 'In the Green'. Typically, I run it at 5 degrees for take off. The important thing is that it is in the green, if you leave a landing setting set the stick forces may be VERY high to keep the aircraft from a severe pitch up,
@@FlyWirescottperdue I generally depart with the trim in the top of the green. When I purchased the plane I would set it in the center and learned that it required less control force at the top or nose up setting. Thanks for your videos.
Great informative video, as always, thank you
Beautiful plane and beautiful place where you are living in.
Always enjoy your good sense videos. As a pilot that doesn't get to fly anymore, really appreciate getting to ride along!
Scott- Glad to have you along for the ride!
That looks like a gated Neighborhood for planes. Fantastic!
It is indeed. The roads are for airplanes and cars have to give way.
Are the cars required to have radios and transponders?
Beautiful airpark Gunny
Better than a Golf Course;)

Some folks think it's a good idea to verbalize it as a regular practice. In the airline world the pilot flying calls for the gear.
excelent
I had a ‘56 H35 that required a pronounced pull to get it into the air. My previous airplane was a Cirrus, which almost lifted itself off at Vr.
Paul your H35 was probably not rigged correctly.

That's Awesome! What is the GA flying world like in the Philippines?

Very helpful for us bonanza flyers. I wished you were the instructor.
@@shishi7gb Thanks for the compliment!
@@shishi7gb That is sad to hear. I bet it is a beautiful country to see from the air!
Had a good time .

Chuck- Thanks. I was just bitten very hard by the flying bug. Grew up that way, my Dad was a WWII Marine pilot. I grew up with Stearmans and Bonanzas.
So do you recommend hitting your brakes following rotation and after the gear is retracted on takeoff?
The POH says nothing about it, in some airplanes like the T-6 the POH recommends it. But not in a Bonanza. Just one extra thing to distract you from flying the airplane. The tires do not hit anything in the wheel well.
Where to you set your elevator trim for takeoff?

Thanks for watching! You do hold the elevator neutral during the takeoff roll. right?
@@FlyWirescottperdue Yes, I let it fly off the ground.
I want to see your instruments :(
I will be flying the bonanza soon too. Thank you
I am not a big fan of drama. I did take an acting class once, though.
Put the camera on a tripod. I am getting airsick.
