How to Make Elk Antlers Removable/Detachable - Taxidermy Mounts

This is the process of making elk antlers (or deer or any antlers) removable or detachable. This is how to cut the antlers off and make them possible to take on and off of the skull plate!
Elk are much easier to transport and taxidermy this way.
The antler rod/square stock system I got from Research (taxidermy supplier), but they’re available through most taxidermy suppliers
