i got shadowbanned too, but i fixed it!
what happened: someone reported one of my posts for copyright issues and instagram deleted it and shadowbanned me immediately.
here's how i fixed it!
first off, one of the biggest mistakes i did was to stop posting (like most of the people do and hope their shadow ban would get lifted). it doesn't work that way. my account engagement went even more down when i stopped posting , so DON'T log out or disable your account cuz that DOESN'T work at all! keep posting but don't spam!
i removed my hashtags (which were same on each post) from like 15-20 posts.
to my surprise, after just 2 weeks after they shadowbanned me, my ban got lifted and i started showing up in the hashtags and my account's engagement is better than ever!✌🏼
did you still put hashtags on your posts while you were shadowbanned

@@CampInFire i just shadowbanned yesterday. i am an anime edit acci with over 12k followesr my acc was doing really well and i was gaining 100 followers per day... on one ONE of my posts i used 2 banned hashtags i never even knew were banned however my next post after that did SUPER well. 2 days later i started working on my next edit so i was hardly on instagram when i came on to post it i got some random warning saying i went against community guidlines but out of panic i pressed cancel so i didnt really read much but none of my posts were removed. when i posted my next edit everything was 0% even after an hour it was still saying that... so i checked on recents for hashtags and my post wasnt there... so i did a lot of research last night and decided to remove all the hashtags from my post that got 0% and the banned hastags (after looking through my whole acc to see if i had used any) on my other post from 2 days ago. i also bought a promotion for one of my most populest posts aswell however its still in review. i really hope this shadowban gets lifted because editing is everything tome and my acc was my safeplace ...

I don’t think most of these are accurate. You get 30 hashtags. Use them. That’s what your allowed. Why would IG shadow you for using what they allow you ?

Its not true that you dont rank only on hashtags. It also limits you from the explore page.
I feel exactly the same about this one Anthony, so many are stressing about this and there really is no need!
I was shadowbanned for close to a week but I didn't notice until I uploaded another pic. Here's how I got shadowbanned and how I got out of it.
How I got shadowbanned: Always put 30 #'S and I put them in the 1st comment. Lots of hashtags were the same ones as my previous posts. So I'm guessing that's what triggered it.
What I did and how I got out of it: I deleted the post I believe triggered my shadowban. Then I went through all my posts and deleted all my hashtags from each post.
I posted another pic a week later and same thing. I was shadowbanned and my pics didn't show up on the recents page. So I waited 2 days like ppl suggested and decided to try again. Of course I didn't know if it would work so I posted one image on my story letting my followers know that my hashtags weren't working. A few minutes later I posted an image with one hashtag to see if it appeared on the Recents page. To my surprise, it worked. I was still liking images and following pages I liked during my ban.

Thanks for your tips. I was shadow ban yesterday just because i very first time repeated same hashtags from previous post lol. I learned my lesson! I still go on IG regularly to like pictures (not automaticly) but zoom in & out first, also commented in proper sentences not short words. i dont want to logout IG stay quiet for few days like people suggested just to prove to IG that im not a bot LOL. OK let see how long will it takes to get me out of shadow ban!
My instagram is pretty much cricket city cause my instagram days are over due to the fact that no matter what I post, nothing happens. Why has Instagram punished me like this? All I wanna do is share my visuals with the world and their not letting me do that.

I tried everything, switching to non business profile, deleting hashtags in last posts, posting with less than 5 hashtags, taking 48 hours brakes.

Some people in my DM group are worried that if you send your new post directly to the DM group, that IG will see if as spam. So some suggest you should simply type “new post”. What do you think?

I comment a lot, but, I don't do spam. I comment the same way as I do on UA-cam. I say what I think about the post above. Never the "check out my account" thingy. Never. That's a no-no on me. But I do comment very very often. When is it too much? I'm just showing engaging with people.

It seems I'm shadowbanned. People went and reported my comment and it got removed from Instagram. It happened April 10 and today is April 15. My posts aren't showing up in any of the hashtags I used. This is how I know I'm shadowbanned. It sucks. How long do I have to wait or what can I do?
I literally have not spammed on anything or done anything spammy. I try to post but my post gets automatically deleted and it’s super annoying because I started my page and the first 2 days I got 200 organic followers. And it’s been 6 days now since I got the shadow ban and I’m unable to upload anything because it gets deleted. Like it’s super annoying now because my account just looks inactive when it’s not🥵🥵🥵

Bart Ros oh it exists, I posted an image of a nude figure drawing with the 1880s reference photo above it. Someone reported, post deleted, shadow banned. No one likes my posts except people that already follow me. Seeing as how I don't have a ton of followers, my likes are low. It's been like this for 2 weeks now. I'm giving it one more week and then I'll delete ig permanently.

HELP!? To get unshadowbanned should I do which if the following.......
1. Log out for 2 days
2. Post as normal but don’t use any hashtags
3. Post as normal and use 5 hashtags only
Post normal and still use 25 tags
( I DONT USE SAME TAGS BTW! )
4. Don’t logout but just don’t post
While checking my previous posts to see if they appear in the hashtags one day

You are just wrong...when you get shadowbanned, your posts only show up to a small portion of your followers. I have been shadowbanned for a week now. From my insights, around 10,000 of my 30k followers would see my post. That has now dropped to around 6,000 per post because of the shaddow ban. Same thing happens with stories..used to get 2000 views per story and am now down to 1000.
but how do you get on the explore page if you dont use hashtags?
No the only way to unshadow ban an account is to deactivate the account for 4 - 5 days that will take the shadow ban right off

ShadyPinesMa79 it worked for me once I did that my reach went way up and my hashtag reach went up started making it on top post and everything.
You just delete the post and wait a couple days

Originally all I wanted is for my uploaded pictures to post to the Instagram front page. None of my uploads ever posted there. They were however, posting to the designated #-pages. Three days into my initial foray into Instagram I noticed that none of my picture uploads were posting to their designated #-pages. Those that had been are no longer there to be found. Now I don't know what to do. I'll wait a few days before trying to upload anything else.
I've only been at this Instagram thing for three days so I'm thinking about deleting all of the previously uploaded pics and starting from scratch.

I disagree, I got most of my likes and followers from hashtags. I have a small photography account, 350 odd followers, I got shadowbanned (not sure why, nothing was reported or taken down). I got 60-100 likes per picture and now I get around 20. It's frustrating.
I think I got banned for uploading from my pc, you now how if you press f12 and view as mobile you pc let's you upload...I stumbled across that this week and then got banned straight away.

ROB TRAMONTE the shadow ban is not as prevalent as it used to be ... I would use outside pages to check if my posts shows up and if it didn’t it’s shadow banned
I got shadowed banned for using the same hash tags and I don't think there was 30 hash tags 🙈 and when I post I don't get any engagement maybe like 5 to 8 likes a post maybe I can hire you to help me get out 👌
Hey Anthony! I am having a problem where about every 3 photos I post, don't work on hashtags or show up on explore. Its been happening for about 3 weeks now. Everything will be fine, ill have great engagement and I show in the top post for my tags. Then boom about every 3 pictures I am banned from hashtags. No spammy behavior at all form me and only use about 5 hashtags.
This whole thing about not using 30 hashtags seems ridiculous. If IG are so down on people using 30 tags they would reduce the maximum you can use.

I have personal art account that ive been growing for about 5 yrs and i have a little over 6k followers but i think my account has been limited beyond how you describe the ban. I cant rank on locations either even though my post are vastly out preforming the competition and my engagement is roughly around 7-10%. In the past 2-3 months ive lost about 300 followers and am still loosing a few daily with a slight offset of new followers too. My analytics also show that most of my post arent reaching the explore page at all. I had a viral post last year but i also got a post reported and removed by a 3rd party user which might have something to do with my stunted reach. I even have some high notoriety pages following inside and out of my niche. My highest being krotchy with a 900k following. I cant figure out whats up witg my page and i could really use some advice. Im not walking away from my 5yr old page

Hey Anthony, my account and videos get reported by a lot of people and the videos follow the instagram guidlines, but it got taken down, and Instagram wasn’t letting me post, I waited and it let me post and my post were back but instagram is limiting my engagement, I’m not hitting the explore page or ranking on hashtags, should I just post and not like anyone’s post, or should I be ascribe and like and comment on other people’s post,

i'm not sure if this does apply to shadowban on insta but what if you're not allowed to follow new accounts? originally kept having the "action is blcked" pop up and at first it was easy to deal with but this morning i tried following a friend's account, it wouldn't change! the blue "follow" button would not change no matter if i tried from compter or the app. (i do think maybe me following/unfollowing someone a bit too quickly to see if the message pop up did cause this and i regre that) is this related to shadowban if i may ask? is following the suggestions in the video help lift that for following because that would make sense, i'm not that active in posting save for chatting with friends in DM's or liking/commenting on posts from time to time or following someone so maybe that made my issue happen? i can do everything else just fine, hashtags even appear (so i don't think this is realted to shadowing but i thought i would ask since your video was well explained!)

But I have my permanent hashtags I use and I use all 30. But posts I don't put hashtags on, its always have less traffic. So, I think you may be wrong saying we shouldn't you permanent hashtags/30 hashtags.

Stevie D to check have two accounts. The one you want to check (1) if it’s shadow banned and one that isn’t following the account you want to check (2) . Next you want to post something on (1) and in the caption put a hashtag that has no posts or isn’t popular and with your (2) account search the hashtag and if the post of (1) doesn’t appear, you’re shadow banned but if it does appear you’re not not shadow banned

Hello Anthony ! Your video has been so useful for me. However, I still don't know if my instagram account @unvlogueurtimide is shadowbanned or if it has just low engagement.
I have a photography account since October 2017 (this is my only one) and i have about 2700 followers. I usually post a new photo every 3 days (I use 30 hashtags (with less than 100 000 posts on them) and tag 20 people in each post) but they are still showing up in hashtags. 10 hours after posting the photo, i usually get around 80-100 likes. Since September 2018, I struggle to grow up on Instagram. I never did the follow-unfollow method and never used bots, but my account has been blocked twice (march / april 2018) for an hour because I put too many likes. Maybe that caused my account to be shadowbanned (or to have low engagement on my posts ?) I would very much appreciate it if you could tell me if i am shadow banned or not.

Yes it does... I am shit right now with 24,6 k and people actually engaged. In 6 days I lost over 700 followers and grow anything. Hope engagement will comeback and for now I am trying to increase my loyal followers engagement
