besides khabib landed 24 sig strikes compared to gaethje's 22, khabib got the takedown and also controlled the centre of the octagon... the judges are piece of shit
Well. To be fair the octagon was quite a bit smaller than usual, and Justin hadn’t had a chance to train in one that small. That’s gonna make it tougher right there. Gaethje was desperately jet lagged. Said his resting HR was normally 44-48 morning of a fight, and that morning, with the diet change, jet lag, etc, his resting HR was 78. I’m not saying if he was in peak shape he would’ve won. But he did land more significant strikes in Khabib than anyone, even Khabib said Justin was the hardest hitting/kicking opponent he faced. I wanna see a fully prepared and healthy Islam Vs Gaethje. Both in their prime. I’m guessing Islam would win. But after Garthje’s last two fights, both fights he looked better than the last. @@RZ6787 by old scoring or new that was a khabib win. Tibau was outlanded in enough rounds. He landed lighter whilst khabib hit much cleaner shots. Tibau had 1 takedown but lost it instantly. This fight had me crying at the end. This fight being dedicated to his father, Khabib dropped to his knees and sobbed, then Justin came over, after being choked out and hugged Khabib. Both great fighters, both have mad respect. 🤍

besides khabib landed 24 sig strikes compared to gaethje's 22, khabib got the takedown and also controlled the centre of the octagon... the judges are piece of shit
It was Saul D'amato the notorious corrupt judge of the UFC.
Give him one more go.
Khabib came, saw, conquered and left. And we will never see that kind of legend again.

He was just taking what he was given by the UFC, Dana said it himself that he never back down from any fights. Khabib tried to fight the top contenders from the start but Dana was having none of it giving him fake contracts and all. When he was fighting Michael Johnson on the undercard for Conor vs Eddie, that was when people started giving him attention and Dana saw that opportunity to make money.

He was dominant because he only fought strikers and grapplers😂 never fought a elite level wrestler😂
I would say Khabib’s flaws lie in his stand up so you never see his downsides during his finishes because he’s so good at what he does best he forces his opponents to play his games. I don’t think saying that makes him sound bad or takes anything from what he’s done but he’s a mid striker with god tier grappling that more than compensates for anything he lacks.
