Grand reason to buy one! Was reminding me of Diesel Creek--buying old equipment for the live of getting them running again--but a way to honor your Granddad--but hope you can find his!!
I totally understand why you purchased your BMC i would like a fordson super major as my grandad learnt me how to drive on one it must be a mid life crisis thing🙂
I have the same approach to buying motorbikes. I’ve just brought one home and asked myself why I brought it ! For my interest what ball park price do you pay for this type of challenge ( might make me feel better about my bike purchase) ?
It was £1250 which frankly having seen it now is probably 200-300 over paid but it’s as original as the day it was built so at least not been messed with too much. Definitely didn’t need it though! 😣
Well now you can say you did it, so time to take it straight back to where it came from. I wouldn’t even worry about selling it just drop it back off and say nothing and leave with a nice empty trailer and drive home to a nice empty shed
The Blue Ford 7510 would have been perfect…… Dry warm and very capable Edit: I wish I watched to the end now, Ford would have the above with no sentimental value. Watch like it or not is important 😊

We have always had bmc on the farm here and still having a working 154 Leyland with front loader in daily use great little tractors.
Like you don't have enough on your plate. I know, I'll buy an old tractor.
A very fine gate stop. 900cc ! What were you thinking? Great for removing skins from rice puddings!
Another project, boy you know how to cram it in, I love tractors
Does Jo know that there's a tractor in that shed?😂
You can always push the tractor around the farm.😂
After Audrey does this make Budrey?
Get it up and running you can just see Eden or the other girls driving round the farm on this.
could be a BMC 9/16? ish maybe

Funny, I have so many memories of it sat there in the orchard but only ever saw it running the day of their dispersal sale when they sold up. 😕
@@diyfarm I can remember our old major 40 years ago better than I can remember what I did yesterday 🤣
Got to go where your heart is....
Ah - Mr Pugh's toyshop at Ledbury is a dangerous place for your wallet!
Thankfully it’s also saved us thousands on other materials and machines so perhaps it all balances out in the end. 😂
Jo I think you need to lock away the credit card!
Ooooooo whats going to happen when Jo finds out and i dont even watch this channel 😅
I tried to justify it but failed!
If you are able to push it by your self. Just sell it as a tractor for the kids and say it’s for Christmas.

A nice summer project to look forward to …. Thanks for the reply
@@yellownev I like how you didn't say which summer 😂
@@C4sp3r123 they are grafters … summer 2025 as the house will be done by then!!
Start an agricultural museum?
£1250 is a good price if it starts it's a bargain
😀👊👍
Perhaps one of your daughters will show an interest in restoring it when they're teenagers !!
Maybe there's a budding mechanic in the family ... ? 😮
We got started today actually. An hour a week and we will work our way through the head scratching I’m sure. 😀
@@diyfarm Look forward to seeing the progress. The Barns looking great BTW !!
Great basic mechanics learning tractor for Eden! 😊
Basic? Advanced for me! Let’s just say we’re learning together. 😂
