Who is Treasure? In today's video, I am reacting to Treasure for the first time ever! They are a new Kpop boy band/ boy group. Going into this reaction video, I had no idea what expect from the kpop boy group/ boy band, Treasure. Some of you all have watched my journey in discovering kpop boy groups/ boy bands, and Treasure is the newest edition to my kpop list lol. I get to know the names of each Treasure member, their ages, personalities, and most importantly, their music! Btw Bang Yedam, your bias, is the main MAIN vocalist of the group (cuz they kind of have 3 main vocalists and the rest are lead), and he's the most famous member especially in South Korea since he was a kid. He was a second place winner (I think) in Kpop Star Season 2 which is a survival show. He was 11 or 12 at that time. And YG signed him up after the show. He had appeared in diff shows like Stay Kids' where his performance video in that has 42m views rn. He's considered the best male vocalist of 4th gen kpop. I hope you look more about him.

yes they are marketed for a bit younger audiences..They have achieved so much despite being so new. YG is killing ittt recently. They look really promising as far as 4th gen Kpop is concerned.
BIGBANG and 2NE1/SNSD are the leaders in 2nd gen Kpop.
BTS and BLACKPINK are the leaders in 3rd gen Kpop.
So far from what I've seen a lot of 4th gen groups (4th gen usually means a group debuting in 2018 to now) are doing so well but ITZY, EVERGLOW, AESPA and TREASURE definitely stand out.

The message is more about the fans and everyone who listens to it. They wanted them to feel that there's still hope and we can overcome the problems that we are facing right now, especially the pandemic. If you noticed, the dancers and students are wearing masks. And there were nurses too.

YG is known to have that swaggy, rough, edgy image and they are quite literally known as legends in rap, hip-hop and stage presence in Kpop but there's just something refreshing about Treasure.
Sure they still have the signature YG aesthetic and vibe like BLACKPINK, 2NE1, and BIGBANG but it's a first I've seen a YG male artist not afraid to embrace the lovey dovey side to them and not just encapsulating stereotypical masculinity. They feel like YG artists but also a hint of JYP in there (JYP is the label TWICE is in)

TREASURE- can also be easier to like... because they have that BTS, TWICE and BLACKPINK vibes .

Fun fact: TREASURE is now the fastest 4th-generation group and the 2nd fastest boy group to be a million-seller! They really deserved it cuz they work hard so much giving us lots of contents and had constant comebacks within just a year. Also Yedam your bias is a great composer and songwriter, I mean almost all of them produce songs! They're really talented and all rounder idols! I love Treasure!! Their usual stuff isn’t very “teeny bopper” tho they do more EDM style songs. (BOY and I Love You) are really good. MMM is alright but it’s not my style

It's nice that you're open to learn about new kpop groups! That's why I recommend you to react to VICTON, they are so talented but not too many people know about them. Treasure is the youngest boygroup from YG Entertainment. YG is known for high quality music video and not putting all of the dance in the music video. So you can check out their live performance in MCountdown, Music Core, or SBS Inkigayo (at their youtube channel). Or you can see their choreography in their " dance practice" video (in Treasure youtube channel).

its not actually about them losing a girl or something, its actually about the 2 other points you said. Its about the pandemic right now and they wanted to cheer up people that went through things during this pandemic. they want to give hope to peopel saying that a better day will come. if you read the lyrics you will see and recognize how they want to cheer up people such as 'a better day will come' ' youre prettier when you smile' 'never give up' 'your existence will eventually shine tomorrow' and things like this
