She tells the truth about singing. I saw her once in a concert here in Hong Kong, she was so impeccable that I thought I was listening to a CD. That perfection comes only from very hard work, besides talent and luck. She is one of my most respected and favorite living Classical singers.

She is a GREAT virtuoso, but all the fioratura, which seems as natural to Cecilia a breathing, may be dazzling, astonishing, and breathtaking, but it is secondary to the radiant, generous utterly WHOLESOME spirit that animates this uniquely fascinating lovable human being..
The one thing (after her amazing technical brilliance) that always gives me great joy, is Cecilia's vibrancy! It is very clear that she LOVES what she's doing!!! Thank you me. Bartoli for giving your excellence in every performance. You have NO rival in what you do!!! I always listen each song you do over and over to just let your immense talent "sink in!!!"

There was singular form chosen when plural would have been used by a mother tongue English speaker. Is that what you mean ? The occasional departure from stress : tonal stress on second syllable not the first but no errors with tense or vocabulary .

Look that smille when she is talking of singing she is such happy person, like Vivaldi such happy music. I discovered opera and classical music with her I was 30. She is so emotional. I so her in live in Brussels what was very lucky as she doesn’t like to fly. But it was so amazing so evenly
Ok, she's nice. But she doesn't say anything interesting, she even says quite silly things! XD And of course she avoids to say there's any part of the repertoire she can't sing (I guess she doesn't even think there is any :-P ).
She and her mother, always stated that she is limited in her voice (smaller and darker) and repertoire She is well read and interesting, sincere and spontaneous. She is a soprano as well as mezzo soprano but her comfort zone is mezzo. She created for herself a unique repertoire and she can be con sidered in a class all by herself
