For those who are sensitive to dairy, do you recommend putting vegan butter aka margarine instead of the butter? Something else? Skip it? Also, if we can't use anything alcoholic, what should be used instead? Thanks for all of the wonderful insight you bestow on us.
Dear Randy, I made those last night and... had problems... the squares stuck to the foil on the oven tray and I couldn't remove them after being cooked because of that. When cold, I managed to remove the paper from the bottoms, but they were soggy... what did I do wrong? pastry too thin? I don't know... can you help? One thing for sure, the taste was scrumptious!
