I wish I liked the tweed jackets,but I can't get past the material looking like upholstery, old lady couches & curtains. It's just so awful to me! I love the jacket styles but that material is just repulsive. The fact that everyone & their dog is wearing it also is quite a turnoff.
I agree. I have 1 but mine is more trendy and modern. They do remind me of old ladies though.
You need to learn how to style them well, that’s all. Many young models are used to model tweed jackets and they look amazing. I am an older woman and bought two beautiful cropped ones 😍 but I don’t like showing skin 😅 (prefer to be modest) so I am trying to find a good way to style them 😂
@@Dandelion_flight good advice! Thank you... I think if I found the right one, I would like it. A smoother fabric, a little bit more modern, and solid color..like cream or black, maybe...I like more modest looks as well. Maybe style it with an elevated Tee underneath and slacks, or even jeans and nice flats or loafers.
@@tennilledebysingh5819 my waist is in the thicker side, I think I am an apple shape 😂 so I have to look for a really thin stretchy stop to go with the tweed jacket and squeeze it under my jeans. A pair of wide leg jeans will be great for a cropped tweed jacket. And a pair of ankle boots 😄
