- Hello friends! Today we are going to explore the ‘City of Pearls’ Hyderabad and admire its beauty! Hyderabad is known as The City of Pearls, as once it was the only global centre for trade of large diamonds, emeralds and natural pearls. Many traditional and historical bazaars are located around the city. It is Telangana's largest and most-populous city and is the major urban centre for all of south-central interior India. From 1956 to 2014 Hyderabad was the capital of Andhra Pradesh state, but, with the creation of Telangana from Andhra Pradesh in 2014, it was redesignated as the capital of both states.

Chennai was way ahead of Bangalore and Hyderabad in 1999 and early 2000's. It was one of the most happening places in India after Mumbai. Now its literally zero. Hopeless development and worst infra. Bangalore and Hyderabad have gone way too ahead and become successful. Chennai needs at-least 10+ years to even reach their current standard.
Hyderabad has a better infrastructure and skyline than Bangalore and Chennai.
Hyderabad looks like a hi-tech city and is very appealing and modern. Damn, we can just imagine how it's gonna look like after the completion of all mega projects that are still pending.

Old hyderbad is cultural and religious centre and also represents the history of Mughal and Sultanate era in Deccan and the new area is modern and well-developed. It's a blend of past+present which is really amusing. ❤

This is a very flattering view. You step on the ground, and it smells foul everywhere. Roads are jam-packed with little to no traffic police, signals are confusing, and no parks, and lakes are all occupied. Nothing to do on weekends. I am born in the Karimnagar-Warangal area Hyderabad sucks. Bengaluru is far better except for the traffic.

Did anyone ask you that or are u feeling insecure r jealous seeing Hyderabad that before anyone compares Hyderabad with Chennai ur stating it to be beautiful. To be Frank Chennai beach road is clean rest places and areas r garbage unlike Hyderabad Chennai is not a modern city it lacks modern housing still can find huts and tached homes in Chennai . Whereas Hyderabad has got ultra modern homes. And u don't wanna compare hitech City nd financial district 🤣🤣 they are another level..

I have been to north Chennai recently I said what I have seen . Even I found many areas as peaceful especially the mahabalipuram side areas . And regarding old city it's was under qutub Shahi dynasty so obviously it's old not a new city Hyderabad is much more older than Chennai. And GHMC fears if they introduce new roads and infrastructure there there will impact heritage construction and local MLA's there r muslims who never really care about people's development. And yeah Hyderabad developement is concentrated in western part because it's modern city . Always modern will look posh than old one.

Modern Cities in India still have no architectural character. They are either concrete blocks or glass boxes. No interesting high rise architecture that can separate one city from another.
North India should take as a lesson, how South Indians are so disciplined and educated which helps them to stand proud.
