Love this pattern. Going to do a prayer shawl out of this. It will be lovely with the red yarn I have to use up. Thank you so much. The pattern looks complicated but you make it look easy. ♥️
Thank you for taking the time to do this tutorial. Truly appreciate! I am going to attempt to make a summer top using these stitches.
Thank you so much! you explain each step so clear, it was so easy to follow 😊

Just beginning a curtain for my kitchen's window and door.. I'll be back in a couple of years with photos :p
Did you make them?
@@genevievegreene1595 unfortunately no! I have a serious problem sticking to a pattern 😜 i keep changing my mind! Yet it's one of my favourites pattern and i will certainly so it some time in the future!
I am also using this pattern as part of my kitchen window curtains. How do you like yours?
@@AnnaSrnt I also have a hard time sticking to one pattern that is why it'll only be part of the curtains when I get tired of doing this one I will change it up. I hope make your curtains. Good luck.
I have been crocheting for years, but never learned to read charts. Thank you for your very clear instructions. I appreciate it a lot. Lovely pattern too.
Glad it was helpful! 😘❤
Thank you for that pattern explanation!! Awesome tutorial! Thank you!
Thank you very much! :)
so beautiful! Learned to crochet this past year, your tutorial is perfect - exactly what you need to know, clear and concise! Put you on 0.5x speed and just crocheted along like a pro xD The result looks so complex, I'm impressing all my friends :P
Hi Kiki. Thank you so much for this video. It’s a beautiful pattern and your directions are perfect!
Thank you very much! :)
Hi Kiki, thank you for your generous sharing, love all your patterns I have done patterns 3D, cable and flowers stich which I just finished crotchet 2 scarfs. It's so beautiful. Love your instruction very clear and easy to follow for I'm a beginner. Always looking forward to your new pattern I really enjoy it thank you once again Kiki👍
Thank you very much for your kind words, Rosaline!! :D :D
You made that chart so easy to understand. I have watched so many videos on chart reading & never have I found one that told me the meaning of the brackets and that counting stitches after and before the brackets & what it means. Thank You so much... Can't wait to try this pattern.
Thank you very much for your kind words, Laurie. Every time I have a chart that goes with my pattern I try to explain as much as I can in the video, because it's really not that hard unless someone shows you the right way to do it. :D
Such a beautiful pattern 😍😍😍
Thank you !
Thank you very much!! :D
You are a wonderful teacher thank you very much for taking the time to make These tutorials I am very grateful they have helped me a lot
Wow I love this stitch. Thank you. Will try
Thank you so much for the tutorial! Very easy to follow. Greetings from Poland :)
I was looking for rectangular shawl patterns to make my mom, then scarves since it was the closest thing to what I wanted and with more variety. Came upon this and it's perfect for a shawl. I'm having some trouble getting it to work how it's supposed to, but I'm just starting to go out of my comfort zone and the norm and just going with it even if I have to keep frogging to get it right
Awesome tutorial.Thank you
Love this pattern thank you wish there were more like this.
Thank you very much!! Here's the link to the playlist with all the stitches I've done so far:

Hello Kiki, very nice pattern, I’m 77 just started to crochet, how can you remember allll these stitches...wow
I love this pattern, thank you. Finally, I got the hang of it; I have been crocheting for many years, but never used a pattern before. Had trouble with my printer, therefore, I copied your pattern by hand. it was not easy.
Nice tutorial...easy to follow.
Love this pattern....thank u so much
Thank you very much! 🌺
Thank you for sharing! This pattern would make a beautiful window valance...not sure what weight of yarn to use in order for valance to flow...thanks again!
Very pretty!
Thank you so much for this very beautiful pattern! Your demonstration is so clear! I am intending on using this for a bedspread using thread. In this case the pattern will be smaller but just as beautiful I'm sure. Just to be clear, to fit my queen size bed, do crochet multiples of 16 to fit the bed and then add twenty?
Very good flowers 👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻😍
Thank you very much! :)
Thank you for teaching this beautiful pattern but I don't know when should I stop I mean which row is the last row
This is beautiful. do u think it would be legible in Bernat baby blanket yarn
Dear Kiki,
It's a nice Motif👍
Thank you very much!! :D
Loved it.
Thank you very much!! :D
Wonderful pattern, I wonder whether you could show us how to use the pattern to crochet a triangular shawl.
exactly what I was looking for; beautiful; excellent instruction easy to watch and easy to hear; than you very much
Thank you very much! :)
Beautiful! Thanks Kiki/
Thank you very much! :)
Very very nice thank you for english
Thank you very much!! :D
Beautiful design sister
The infinity scarf you are making, shown at the beginning, I'd like to make that. How many stitches, where in the pattern did you start? TY so much for doing this in English. I LOVE it!!
Thank you very much!! I've started with 52 chains.
Beautiful mam good jobbb❤❤❤
Thank you very much!! :D
Nice pattern
Lovely. I’d like to use this pattern for a new project but can this pattern/stitch be increased?
Hi Kiki, I was wondering if you can tell me how to turn this stitch into a v-shaped shawl. That would be awesome! Thanks☺
Your tutorials are excellent. I never get lost and I love your patterns.
تسلم الايادي وشكرا
Pretty
I want to make an infinity scarf from this beautiful pattern but I'm having trouble making the end connection and twist to make this work evenly. Is there a tutorial to help me out?
Kiki do you have a new blog page? I am trying to make the scarf with the triangle motif. I am looking for a written pattern including the graph??? Anything that will help me. Thank you so much. You are an awesome teacher. Looking forward to following you on the tutorial.
Thank you for explaining the pattern but. I'm still so very confused. Lol I'm not great at math. And slow learner. I may need to jus practice somehow?
Hi kilki this is the first time i m watching this tutorial n i find it easy for myself . You explaing very good .. my question is that i m making a crochet frock my daughter for winter i m using Bernat premium yarn , will this design look good if i use that yarn ... ???
Thank you very much!! I believe it will look fine with the bernat yarn. :)
Very very beautiful
Thank you very much! :)
Hello, this is beautiful and I will make a scarf doing 52 chain. However I bought some yarn in Vietnam and it doesn’t give details, I weighed it and each ball weighs 125 grams. I’m guessing 4 ply, it is very soft with cashmere in it. I purchased 2 balls ( that’s all they had ). Will that be enough to make the scarf with 52 chain ? Many thanks, I love your tutorials.
Thank you so much for explaining the diagram, gor the first time i saw someone solving this problem🙏
Really like ur video
Just one question
How to read, if yarn over is taken once or multiple times during crocheting?
Cz many times i hv seen, somewhere they take 2,3 or even more times yarn over, how it is mention in diagram? What symbol is used to indicate this?
Plz answer 🙏
Thanks again from
🇮🇳🔱🇮🇳
Lovely stitch I want to have a go at making it🧶💕😊👍
Thank you very much! :)
Does anyone have a written pattern of this stitch
Very pretty
Thank you! :)
Do you have written pattern
Hi Kiki, I want to make a table runner with your beautiful pattern but I am stumped. I know the multiple is 16 but not sure if I need to add anymore chains for the foundation row. I am using cotton thread size #10 which means the stitches will be smaller then yours. I am a beginner and want to make this for my moms birthday. Can you please help me.
Thank you and Happy Valentine’s Day to you.💕
Hello and thank you for your kind comment. You will have to make a sample and then calculate to find how many chains you need to start with for the desired width. But you will probably need more chains than I do, since you are crocheting with thread.
Does anybody know..what should be our last row
You have beautiful hands.
Thank you! :)
Do you have the written pattern please
Thank you very much. I made a mint green baby blanket with this pattern and it is beautiful.
I have a question for you Kiki. Would it be possible to adapt this pattern for a corner increase?. I would like to make a top with a raglan neckline. If you could help me out I would be ever so greatful :-)
Thank you!!! I tried to find the increase or make it into a shawl but I couldn't. I tried all different ways I knew but none came out right. :(
oh well... thanks all the same .
Try to do this stitch in increase and decrease in blouse......?!
Can't really work increases and decreases with this stitch for a blouse, you'll have to make a straight one.
Hi Kiki, is the repetition 5 Dbl cr, ch 3, 1 dbl cr, ch 3, 9 dbl cr, ch 3 then repeat?
Thanks
Hello, Debbie. If you follow the video and visit the link that I show under the video so you can see the diagram of the pattern, your question will be answered. The 5dc are only in the beginning and end of that row.
Hi! I’m just seeing this:) I took link to your blog but it’s not there. Is there a written pattern to do along w you? Thanks!
Can I purchase the pattern somewhere the blog you had has been removed?
To do a repeat.. To make it wider... Do you repeat the sixteen in the bracket?
Yes, on every 16 ch the pattern repeats its self. 💕
Where do I find the pattern?
How much yarn will we need?
Does anyone know where the repeats are in this pattern to make this wider?? Row by row??
I do explain in the video, and the rule is under the video in the about section as well. It's mult of 16 +20. So on every 16 ch the pattern repeats its self.
Beautiful stich, I wish I knew how to make a spring cardigan with this pattern ! But I just seem not able to count all the "multiple" and the "plusses", all of the things that seem to come so easy to everyone ... But me. I will never be able to make a cardigan for myself. I'm hopeless. The biggest part of the patterns for cardigans, I have to adapt to my size, because they're almost always written or sizes S to ('maybe, if you're lucky L), they do say how to adapt the pattern for "larger" sizes, but I just do not understand it.... Pffff.... I guess I'll stick to making Amigurumi and give up hope to ever be able to make something for myself that I can actually wear.... 😢😢😢
Nadia Verbeeck for bigger sizes, I use bigger hooks.
I did 96+4 chains for back part for a xxl size vest and 48+4 chains for each front part .
Then for shoulder part i started wid a new yarn one less motif
U can do sleeves if u want
I will do the pattern in round n decrease as i go in under arm area
If you don't have a calculator handy do this: count 16, put a stitch marker in, count another 16, put another stitch marker in. Keep doing this 'til it's wide enough and put 4 more stitches on. That will make your 20 section (because 16 plus 4 is 20.) You don't have to put stitch markers in, but I find they help me keep track on a long chain because someone or something inevitably interrupts when I'm counting. (Count out loud too!)
I hope this helps.
Catherine Atkinson Isn't it amazing, the number of times you can be interrupted while chaining?
APrimbun
Totally!
Just wanted to let everyone know that the links are no longer available. I just tried them and it says they were removed or have nothing listed. Very disappointing. Does anyone know where I can get the pattern now?
How many chains if I’m making it twice the length/ I tried making 16 plus 20 and its not working
Mary Ann Wilson The number of the beginning chains will determine the width of your work, the length depends on how many rows you will work. The 16+20 applies for only one repetition. If you want two repetitions you will do 32+20, if you want three repetitions you will do 48+20 and so on.
Kiki Crochet thank you so much!
@@KikiCrochet Thank you Kiki. Am New to your channel. This pattern led me to you. God Bless
Hi. I tried to get the charts but it says not available. Help!
Is there a way to increase and decrease using this pattern? I've looked everywhere and I can't find anyone who speaks about increasing and decreasing sizes for such compound patterns.
Where is this pattern written , none of the links worked.
Kiki I want to make this flower stitch bigger so how shall I calculate??
Hello!! Follow the information that I give in the beginning with the rule for the stitch. :)
Thanks I got it & when i show this pattern to one of my friend and she like it so much and request for a vest so how shall i do?? Can you help me pls??
I keep ending with an open space at the ends of round 2. I’ve frogged it 3 times. 16+16+20 and still end with a chain 3 open space at one end. So frustrated with this. What am I doing wrong?
I don't understand what you mean by a "3 chain open space", although the last of every row where the previous was a dc, it's on top of the 3 chain.
On the second row. Dc 5, chain 3, dc, chain 3, dc 9, etc. I always end the row with a chain 3 and not 5 dc. I wanted 16+16+20 which is the repetition but I always end with a chain 3 space at the end instead of the 5dc
Can I use the pattern to make a blouse
Yes, you can definitely make a blouse, the only thing you won't be able to make decreases for the armholes, it will be a straight piece.
OK thanks I'll sure try to do it
Hi kiki when I do make a blouse with your pattern can I send you the picture.
Yes, I'd love to see it!
Could we use this pattern to sell?
Hello, Mickey. If you mean your finished products, yes you definitely can! :D
