Edit - I had used a bar with a J/S shape lip for removing seals. Try if you can make one, makes the work a lot easier. I use the same for removing bushes on conventional forks.

Thank you, Jeet! This was very informative. My right dust boot looks like it needs to be replaced. Going to Goa on Friday so i need to get this done this weekend itself. If I am not able to find time then at least now i know how to check if the mechanic is doing things correctly. Everytime i used to go there for one repair, i come home with another issue. Haha. So I've been doing my repairs myself for the past 4 years (honestly, only servicing.. i have the same bike as you; haven't had a single issue till this oil leak now). Thank you again for making this video!

Dear Jeet, this is a tidy service with attention to details. I like your style BUT you did not open the inner tube at all. I undersand, this is not required for regular oil and seal replacement. For tuning the spring rate and checking the piston seals it would be necessary. I may try and dig deeper on my fork. The suspension feels very-very soft on my RC 125.

Can you please share what is the weight of the fork oil that KTM is using. Will help in getting an aftermarket fork oil of the same grade. Even the mechanics of KTM are unable to share that info

Now ktm has improved a lot. I used a ktm duke 200 and it used to break seals everyday. Nice info.

Earlier models didn't have dust seals
@@erichhere yes correct, they have added dust boots, but they ahve changed the seals mainly that made a huge change.
